Seriously we're making or codeveloping some seriously capable ew equipment lately. Impressive. Its a extremely capable next gen portable EW ESM, called as Narda's Signal Shark, seen here fitted with ADFA Antenna for Direction Finding, its produced under license at NRTC I believe. The antenna is marketed as the world's most compact solution for direction finding signals from 10 MHz to 8 GHz. Also the company Narda was formerly owned by L3 Harris till 2021.
I'll be damn if they are actually have a plan for our own indigenous ew suit for our next-gen aircraft, if they are really serious about this projectSeriously we're making or codeveloping some seriously capable ew equipment lately. Impressive.
Just wishful thinking btwI'll be damn if they are actually have a plan for our own indigenous ew suit for our next-gen aircraft, if they are really serious about this project![]()
I thought we only had 3 DA-20's?WRT to EW fleet, following are the unconfirmed reports:
- Global 6000 was acquired in 2022, while another has been acquired lately & suppose to be converted to EW platform on HAVA-SOJ standards, while no info available for the plan of additional aircrafts acquisition (status unknown for both aircrafts).
- 6th DA20 was acquired post "Swift Retort", status unknown of 1st 3 aircrafts upgradation & conversion of remaining aircrafts to EW standards.
We have to make assumptions because there is very little or no information accessible about this project due to its sensitivity.
Has anyone seen the new footage from PAF exercise? It seems hava soj is here.

No mention of HAVASOJ directly but does mention an Airborne SOJ.
