India Lucky Not To Lose More Than Four Rafales

Happy to do that, but talking about the subject matter is beyond that clown. He will of course get poltical, @Musings suggested reporting his posts, which I have done
I appreciate that bro, but over banning people then we get complaints about mods being Hitler and lose members. We have to balance moderation with keeping discussions open.

Please help us make this a space everyone can enjoy, if you disagree with someone just ignore them.

Agreed, I would not worry about losing people, imagine he has many IDs on here...

Frankly, with 90%+ Indians that are in my sphere (and we all live in a bubble of ours) will take 4 jet loses any day to what IAF was able to accomplish deep inside Pakistan territory. People are fed up of Pahalgam type actions where perpetrators were asking religion before executing (ISIS style). Something had to be done and was done and India will take those losses in its stride, learn better, train better and will be out again if something untoward were to happen.

This framing essentially accepts that India has no l advantage or edge in air warfare, if anything they are worser

It consequently means India has no realizable military benefit proportionate to the difference in economy and size of the two nations

I see the thread has become infested with off-topic posts.

No proof beyond 4 jets and even if one to give benefit of the doubt and say its 7-0, no proof that 4 were rafales.

Continue to troll, diss, whatever you like/love...
Just blame yourself. It has nothing to do with us.

Okay. So a more worthy discussion is say India lost 4 jets. How does Indian population at large (and more personally I) take it.

That's the long and short of it. There is a price to be paid for any terrorist action that targets civilians in India - that is how most Indians see it. And if we have to "pay" a price of a few jets, thats more than OK.

Iran was able to achive more then India. Mind you Iranian missiles had to travel over 1000 miles over American AD batteries and still struck one of the most advance military in the world.
India only struck empty hangers and damaged 1 saab2000.

Grok saar plej verify itttt.

No wonder they want to talk about anything other then the Rafales.

My guess is after 6 months they may well suspect the number is higher then 4.

No other reason why IAF is keeping quiet.. If the damaged ones that limped home where written off (either crash landing at base of damaged beyond economical repair) then you are looking at 8 Rafales

It's genuine worth understanding how the Rafales got sooooo outclassed.

There must be a big element of incompetence as good as paf were

The j10cs are actually oldish planes, with cutting edge aspects

I think it is pretty apparent that IAF doesnt have an edge on PAF else outcomes would have been much more one-sided (I call the May 7th a draw). Similarly PAF is limited in offense but more than fit for defense.

What this framing also means is that India will continue to improve (platforms, training etc) and will take collateral damage to further its interests (do damage where it deems fit). We have already seen India investing heavily.

Also, the big picture is that there has been only a temporary stop in hostilities on both sides, the IWT stands in abeyance and relationship is far worse than before Pahalgam.

It is interesting times for both nations. I dislike the Afg-Pak because it weakens Pak further which in turn makes it more wounded and pushes Pak to take a harder stance.

At the same time, Google announces a $15B investment in India. When you juxtapose the developments in both nations across the board, the gap seems to be windening. At the same time, Pak garnered US interest after a long time which is a good thing but the current US dispensation is quite flimsy and can change mind overnight (as we have seen with tariff actions, deportations etc,)

Who know's whats instore for near future - onto the next round I suppose and hopefully more peace vs war

Shamelessness ultra pro max.
*Le Bkahtoras: Why did PAF shoot only 7. Why couldn't they shoot 15? Incompetent!! 😆
