India Lucky Not To Lose More Than Four Rafales

I must say, Indians managed to control most of the footage of any losses suffered by them through restricting the people and the videos being uploaded compared to pakistan where people immediately uploaded the impacts of immediate air strikes by india and the following bhrahmos and harpy drone attacks,

had those handful pictures and videos of downing Indian jets not been leaked from india then then Indians would've decalred total victory.
for every single leaked video in India where the Pakistani missiles are impacting , there are 10 or more videos uploaded by Pakistanis showing Indian drones and missiles impacts.

it does go to show that either Indian internet control was much more effective or its peope were as much Sindoored up to the hilt to restrain themselves to show any videos or pictures of Pakistani strikes.
there are news of Pakistani drones over Dehli but despite being a populus city of millions there is not even a single video to show that.

which is kind of disappointing. because after getting the main course of downed Rafales, SU30 and Mig 29 etc we wanted some deserts in the shape of impacting drones and missiles on their bases. the videos that did came out were not clear and people caimed that they were unrelated old videos of fires in the past.

compared that to Pakistan where either Indians had paid video recorders or all Pakistanis from Azad Kashmir to Lahore and beyond were bored and on the standby recording constantly to show impacting Indian projectiles to give Indians a much needed releif after losing so many jets.

Surprising. Folks here believe Indians are incompetent because how can a few terrorists cause Mumbai or Pahalgam so many miles inside Indian territory yet they give credit to Indian agencies on internet control - so basically, Indians are competent at things that don't matter in real life (more like they are good at lying to their masses). Right?

Also, another explanation - tenuous for Pakistan - is that both countries were equally competent (or not) at stopping damage pics/videos being released. The lack of videos on Indian side shows there was less damage vs. Pakistan and India lost more jets vs. Pakistan. FWIW, ISI is much more embedded in fabric of Pakistan vs. RAW or other agencies that can stop uploads/restrict people. Just due to sheer numbers (population) its more unlikely that Indians won't photograph/post such events.

My take - Pakistan did better in A2A, A2G was a complete failure. Similarly, India should have done better in A2A. However, air force did achieve objective of hitting targets albeit with few losses.

They need to be in standby mode also with their hunting rifles, AK-47s or whatever is available....

Indians are anything but incompetent.
I dont wish this to happen again ever. and the curse of proxzy wars and use of nonstate actors to stop from both sides.

President flew in a Rafael today - No 17 squadron based at Ambala. She also met Sq leader Shivangi Singh before the sortie. Guess everyone has the answer to "Where is Shivangi" now... FWIW, doesn't proof anything other than SS is alive and well...

For three years, then, Singh flew alongside and learned from Varthaman till, in a fitting conclusion to that relationship (because life loves full circles), she too strapped into a fighter jet and she too flew against Pakistan, firing precision missiles in response to a terrorist attack on Indians and Indian soil.

This paragraph has a lot of weight to it, imo. In a recent talk show event where the country chooses to elevate and portray their female leaders (which is fine), but does not choose to show arguably the most popular female character during this time, not only to rally their domestic audience (that was desperately needed) but also prove wrong the "propaganda" of the foreign adversary - I find it hard to believe that something did not happen (injury, jet shot down inside, etc).

Yes, SS is now more visible given that she has now fully healed up from the pounding the PAF provided ;) ...

So what? Your president was in a twin-seater (RB-0xx), we banged the single-seater Rafales

The only definitive conclusion is that she is alive and well. Rest is all conjecture (whether her plane was downed or not). Only thing this disproves is death of an IAF pilot.

Yes. Medics did a great job patching the old girl up. Make sure she gets a medal.
