Honestly, this tactical tit for tat is futile.

Obviously controlling a restive J&K is a challenge for Indians, and if anything goes South, Pakistan is a favorite boogeyman. The blame on Pakistan few minutes after the incident is evident of their thought process.

The IAF wouldn’t admit to losses and will build a narrative around their strikes inside Pakistan as a resounding success which resulted in strikes on a mosque and innocent lives lost.

The PAF very well dominated the skies but a tit for tat missile strikes resulted in hits for both sides.

But PAF may not be lucky every time where the Indian army has the initiative. Pakistan needs to make it clear, for next time, any misadventure from the Indian government, and Pakistan army has the right to strike preemptively. This is the only way to deal with these rabid extremists.

Nobody, not even the IAF itself, would definately know what airframes are available for an exercises till perhaps the very last minute. Aircraft can go technical or be serviced.

The fact that two weeks prior they are claiming to know exact serials of participents means

1) It is BS
