Bro that’s not a good argument. Everything has a beginning and an end, whether they want to end this with dignity or flee like Hasina Wajid that’s up to them. So? Not the first, or the last time, this has happaned.

It’s shocking tbh, but this is a defense forum, so plenty of pro-army voices are active here. On the ground though, people hurl such abuse at them that I can’t even post those words online. What’s truly amusing, though, is how many self proclaimed constitutionalists and supposed champions of law and due process (here on PDF and beyond) have now been thoroughly exposed.... Their thinly veiled cheerleading for dictatorship, simply because those at the receiving end happen to think differently, reveals them for what they truly are.

As they say, denial ain’t just a river in Egypt. Those who still refuse to acknowledge the reality of February 8 and the unmistakable public sentiment hardly merit a response. You’re free to live in your delusions...

Right back at you, sir.
Reality remains as it is, of course. Two years and counting, and we shall whose description of reality is closer to the truth. I have never been a cheerleading for the military gross misuses of extra Consitutional authority, but I also am able to see the sad reality of IK's position which was always more claim than fact.
Let me be extra charitable and say that perhaps if there were any actual results, or even some evidence of what is bein claimed, I would happily change my stance.
We, who remain in Pakistan, entertain different expectations and pursue different designs... Cheers.
Entertaining dreams and hopes is nothing without actual results.
Pakistan is the same as it ever was, IK or no IK. Ergo, Pakistanis are content with the state of affairs in Pakistan, regardless of what they claim. Otherwise, change would actually happen.
Where is it?
All in good time...
Of course.
Apparently, that time is not yet, clearly, please take note of that implict admission.
Well, that depends upon how one defines "yet." In ordinary discourse, it signifies the immediate present, the moment as it stands.
Yet, when viewed through the lens of a nation's history, "yet" transcends the fleeting instant... it marks a phase, a deliberate course set in motion, whose consequences unfold across time...
It is not a argument, merely a statement of fact.
I have consistently said that The military is wrong to usurp illegal powers that place it above the Consitution, but I also can see that IK was merely another pawn installed, and removed, by them, and not the revolutionaly messiah some still hope he might be. He is not.
As to who flees the country in the coming months or years, we shall see.
Fair enough, but it seems that we both agree that it will cetainly take a much longer time than what many here quite impatiently wish to see happen.
I wish your efforts every luck of course, but with the observation that tangible results or even improvements, are likely to take the time scale of several decades at least , if not longer.
Much is going to change in terms of people and personalities within that timeframe. That much is clear already. The present actors will fade away soon enough.

Your anger should be directed at the power usurpers who violate their own oath and damage institutions and the country in the long run.
I can agree with most of that, though I would question the timescale... it could be shorter, even if a decade is a mere moment in the nation’s history...
