Dunno what you mean by last part but based on facts Saudis did not initiate any attack on Iraq until Iraqi militias fired ballistic missiles and drones at their oil facilities/pipelines and struck them. And then Saudis stopped after that rather measured retailation.

Iraqis in my opinion will call a spade a spade and this stops. Iraqi government does not want more instability or to be drawn into more conflicts. Saudis likewise aren't going to escalate. They've explicitly stated they ended their retaliation and have no intention to attack if not attacked.

Saudis are also big reason why US cannot mount a larger and expanded air campaign against Iran.

IRGC also do not intend to mount some significant assault (such as some rumored ones I've been seeing on social media) as they're managing the conflict well and have now gotten Trump to stand down and could actually use next two years to build a nuclear weapon if they play it right

I am happy with the new Pakistan ,turkey,Saudi Arabia defence agreement but not happy Saudi Arabia being part of it. I guess despite knowing the reality we signed pact with Saudis just bcz of religious significance. Though the current Saudi leadership doesn't have a ounce of Islam in them.

They don't want militias in the region. Even in Syria they're giving the Sharaa guy a chance to prove he's willing to build a institution for state. Iran on other hand seems them as integral part of revolution and this where interests collide.

The situations in Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Libya, and others in past decade has basically pushed stable actors to reduce presence of non state actors.

It's a tragedy in Palestine because Palestinian movements like Hamas and Islamic Jihad are state actors and shouldn't be grouped with non state actors that try to challenge grip of state on the nation

I'll give you that if US was in powerful standing but his administration is a big failure at home that's losing all its momentum. The corporations are really frustrated with him as he made huge roadblocks for their roadmap and lots of R/D money they spent went to waste as he sabatoged implementation and growth phases of lots of US based companies. The economy is in worse state than they're letting on.

All signs point to them losing seats in mid terms to Democrats. And they're now panicking and rallying for midterms.

As to your post with bases hit, it's quite clear the US can't keep a presence in Iraq and many smaller PGCC countries. It's just too vulnerable. Vulnerable doesn't mean all stationed soldiers will die in flames, it means the base has no value. No value means: aircraft can't take off there, aircraft can't be protected, there can't be training, there can't be stationing, radars blown up etc. That is the meaning of vulnerable.
