I can guarantee, if this forum remains, 10 years down the road people will still be taking about what Karachi could be. 18th amendment was the death knell for Karachi. There is no going back. Karachi will remain as it is. One of the largest and most backward cities in the world and it is only the provincial government that is responsible for its diminishing value.

There won't be a separate province, local bodies will not be allowed to operate and the citizens will continue to suffer. This is the reality of the situation.

I say this because the past 3 decades have proven that our petty, ethnic interests reign supreme, Karachi's citizenry be damned.
