15-year-old allegedly run over by employer after workplace dispute in Multan

It is ugly callousness at scale.

It starts with how Pakistanis treat the strays on the streets.

From animals, this apathy moves to those in the lowest strata of the society.

Firoun lives in every society but the societal norms/decency keeps a check. Amongst us, he never left thus these issues keep on rearing their ugly head with frequency.

The law has miserably failed in deterring criminals from committing crimes. The state of Pakistan needs to enforce the law with full force.

Currently the state has no writ in the society in general. Only the helpless poor has some fear of law. Anyone having some influence thinks of the law as his mistress. That mindset must be changed.

Squashed like rat or a bug.
No remorse shown .
The guy dragged the boy's dead body , looks at it in a victorious way and tries to drive off.

This guy has money and will offer a few Caror rupees ae Diyyat to the opposite side.
I don't know the exact laws in Pakistan, if the state can intervene and stop a settlement, and go for the maximum punishment.
Making an example out of therse people is the way to go .

That's the pa
Trying to get my head around this part, just for starters.

Much is wrong with this country.

That's what broke me. I pray every man is given a long enough life to see his son and daughter on their feet so they do not have to go through this sort of torture. Only a biological father can be a dad nothing else.

These people can escape justice in this world, due to their wealth or connections or some other factor, but they will not escape justice in the Hereafter. Especially those who have committed crimes against children.

Although what I wrote is true, I also know it's a level of copium. If Pakistan were a nation of laws, instead of a junkyard dictatorship, the people would have rights and could seek justice in its courts.

Clearly done with intent. The driver had no consideration for the safety of the boy. People don't chase and smash runaway bulls like this during Qurbani season. Here a human being is treated worse .

All western concepts of women empowerment , done wrong.
This type of abandoning children is very rare even in the west, and happening in Pakistan.
Now the sane woman will come round with the best of her emotional performance, grab tge money and abandon the case .

It's incredible that such things continue to get reported in the media.

Social media to be precise.
Basically reported by the people.
The house owner who gate pist the boy was crushed against, uploaded the CCTV video.
Imagine if the boy had died on the killers private property, nobody had known.

In Pakistan, the stepfather has no interest in raising another man's children. I have seen it a few times as a condition of marriage, and the woman goes through with it; it's sad to say I've seen it happen once within the larger family circle back home in Pakistan.

If there is some sort of compromise, then the abuse starts.

We do not follow the deen (religion), but culture and whatnot.

Also, f_ck the maternal grandfather; he didn't need to send the children to an orphanage for him to study electrical work.

I do agree with you; the mother would take the money and walk away. All she has to do is part her legs like the Red Sea, let more Israelites through, and give birth to another in nine months.

My daughter was 2 year old and used to cry a lot when we forced her to take her essential medication. We tried everything and forcibly feeding her tge medication was the only way.
The neighbours heard her crying a few times, reported us.
We had police , council, child protection services , all ascending upon us and we had to explain ourselves to actual trained experts in child abuse .
Took us over a month to clear our names.
Did I mind that ? Of course not . I was glad that such system exists for the welfare of children.
My neighbours were very apologetic later, but I commended them.

Roman Senate may curtail these CCTVs and Roman Law may refuse such digital evidence.
