Hopefully one will debut here or at the next Zhuhai with the 2D thrust nozzles; lower IR signature, especially as IRST are becoming a major way stealth aircraft are being detected by 4th gen fighters and other platforms.

There are more and more new toys popping up before Sept. 3 Victory Day parade. Just wonder how will our neighbor India think at the moment. Wouldn't they always claim that if China can do, so can India. I have been watching the Indian parade every year and I don't see anything new or exciting stuff.

It will be interesting to see if what appears to be a smaller missile; the HQ-9C, could fit in the VLS on the Type 054A Frigates. The HQ-9C is said to have an active seeker, so it wouldn’t need as much guidance from the launching warship as the older semi-active HQ-9 models, making it an ideal replacement for the HQ-16 missiles which are said to be too heavy to keep up with emerging threats.
