China stages rehearsals ahead of massive military parade
August 22 2025

Tens of thousands of troops marched in formation through the center of Beijing in recent weekends, practicing for a military parade to be held on September 3 to commemorate the end of World War II 80 years ago. Local residents have expressed excitement at the rare chance to watch armed vehicles and fighter jets roam the streets and airspace of the Chinese capital.

First, I can confirm that the parade will be broadcast live worldwide. So, you'll definitely be able to find a way to watch it.

On YouTube, I'm not sure if CCTV or CGTN's official accounts will be broadcasting live, but there will definitely be many other accounts that will be broadcasting. You can find these accounts by searching.

Of course, the viewing experience depends on whether you want to listen to the official Chinese version of the commentary.

The most authoritative channel is CCTV.
CCTV-4 is an international channel, but I don't know if it's available in your area.

You can test this link to see if it works.
This is CCTV's official live streaming platform, fully synchronized with television programs.

These three channels will definitely be broadcast live. You can select a different channel from the selection screen on the right.

Search "CCTV" or "CGTN" on YouTube and you can easily find the official account.

CGTN (China Global Television Network) is an English-language television channel that's completely targeted at international audiences, but I'm not sure if it will broadcast the parade live, or if it will be broadcast live on TV platforms but not necessarily on YouTube.

CCTV will certainly broadcast the parade live, but it will not provide English subtitles.

I imagine that many international media outlets will broadcast the parade live simultaneously. They will use the public video feed provided by CCTV, with unofficial English commentary provided by guests in their studios.

Perhaps Pakistani television will also provide a live broadcast.

If India is the protagonist here, the Indian would make a hundred threads for this missile alone and another hundred threads for it being sub launched.

this parade must be sending shivers in washington.
they simply cannot match the Chinese tech and speed now.

the illusion of being a world "superpowa" for the americans is soon to be burst wide open, they're only going bankrupt and into civil chaos.
Imagine a failure of a superpowa that cant even provide for its own people!

I can't wait for the memes of this parade stitched together side-by-side with the US military parade done some months ago
