Comparing India and China on the basis of Olympic gold medals is not a fair comparison. You make this comparison because you have no clue about India and its sporting landscape.
Cricket is the single most popular sport in India, and India maintains the numero uno position in cricket, not just in terms of talent and performance, but also financially. More than 90% of the world's cricket revenue comes from India. The richest cricket league in the world is the Indian Premier League (IPL). The most expensive and richest cricketers are Indian cricketers, and the most famous cricketers in the world are Indian cricketers.
You simply cannot imagine cricket without India. India has the biggest and most advanced cricket stadiums in the world, along with the best cricketing infrastructure and the largest cricket talent pool. India is everything when it comes to cricket. So comparing India and China solely on Olympic gold medals while completely ignoring cricket makes absolutely no sense.
And stop being a cheerleader for CCP. If you have any shame left as a Taiwanese, understand this: we Indian Hindus want Taiwan not only to remain independent, but also to remain a stronghold of Hindu-Buddhist traditions, much like Japan. If you want otherwise, then you are not being loyal to Taiwan or to its long-term cultural heritage.
