Afghanistan announces start of $10b TAPI gas pipeline project

It's true that memories of the atrocities carried out by Pakistan in Bangladesh are fading with time, and now Bangladesh seeks to maintain relations with Pakistan as with any other normal country. However, Bangladesh's relationship with Pakistan will never come at the expense of its strong ties with India. Bangladesh has nothing to gain from Pakistan joining BRICS, and if they support Pakistan, it could certainly harm their relations with India. As for Iran and Afghanistan, they are unlikely to vote for Pakistan for obvious reasons.

Your reading of the situation is wrong, Afghanistan doesn't even have a recognized govt, idk why you keep mentioning them and BRICS in the same sentence. Iran has no animosity towards Pakistan. A Bangladesh has quite a bit to gain from Pakistan.

There are several Bangladeshis who see prospects in that relationship.

Why are they including India , the supply should stop in Pakistan. pakistani demand and consumption for the gas should be enough to meet the supply.

The entire American plan is to get gas from Central Asian states to India.

I am a staunch supporter of more and more defence cooperation between BD and Pakistan.

Well South Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, several South American junta states didn't

Also Most of those you mentioned are not really client states, they are a lot more sovereign and not completely dependent on the whims of the US, the way those states were, Iraq for example is forced to keep oil revenue from its own in the US federal reserve, based on a 2003 scheme the US set up when it installed the puppet client state in Iraq, you also add in all the leadership that was placed to run the state and you see how deep the rabbit hole goes.

There are no Latin American junta states

Bangladesh won’t risk angering India by supporting Pakistan. Bangladesh’s relationship with India is far more important than with Pakistan.

Like there is no South Vietnam. I'm not talking about present day.

El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala under junta rule backed by the CIA and the Chicago Boys. Those countries still feel the ramifications to this day.

I doubt that now. That was true under Hasina who was your mole.

yea... thats the thing, they don't give a fk what you think. lol

They are not interested in being a vassal state, so they will diversify relationships with China and Pakistan regionally, likely try to join ASEAN and look eastwards to Malaysia and Indonesia to diversify.

They aren't interested in being under the Indian umbrella, where you dictate things to them and try to put pressure. The Awami league took a loss, it seems they are going in a different direction.

What did he do that was stupid? Tell the US govt they couldn't bomb Afghanistan through Pakistani airspace and refuse them bases?

Or trying to expand relations with China, Iran, Turkey, Russia, Malaysia. etc? which seems to have upset some benefactor of the Mir Jafar's in place.

Don't you think its embarrassing that a low tier state dept official can command your ambassador to be an errand boy to you Army COAS, giving an order to him to depose your elected prime minister?

is this the "sensible leadership"? being a slave?

Pakistan really is turning into a joke. The sad part is that the state had so much potential to be something special.
If you cannot tell what’s stupid, you yourself are stupid. You don’t know how this world works. He had a great opportunity and he was not up to it. BTW he messed up relationships with China and Turkey. He should not have gone to Russia on the eve of their invasion of Ukraine. Malaysia really doesn’t matter. Grow up!

Sensible didn't get Pakistan very far. Sensible in Pakistan often means selling your country to the Americans.

You need a strong leader that dares to make tough decisions.
And get #ucked in the process because we are weak. The first priority is to make the economy strong and independent and then you can have all the bluster you want.

Ok buddy. lol

He certainly didn't mess anything up with Turkey, from the turkish perspective that complete BS. I don't think the Chinese issue is different either.

What he did "fk up" was the US relationship by prioritizing Pakistani interests over being a doormat with stolen govt money stashed abroad or visas for family members to live and study in Canada/US.

What are you going to do with the American sponsored pipeline? When I look at TAPI it has to cross Pakistan... Your enemy number 1. Is this even possible?
When I look at your CPEC plans, it has to cross Afghanistan to connect to Central Asia ... Your enemy number 2. Is this even possible?.

Without connecting to Central Asia, your $66B CPEC is a complete commercial failure.

Want CPEC to go to Central Asia, allow TAPI. Simple.

With China on your side anything is possible. You will fall in line. Money makes everyone fall in line. Enmity is put aside. Your country needs money and a lot of it.

LOL. Prime Minister of Afghanistan doesn't go and beg before IMF/KSA/UAE so I guess it's Pakistan who needs money and a lot of it !.
