The Pakistani tax payer took the burden


NO MORE

Persecute the Afghans, get them all out of the country

Do IBO after IBO against terrorists

No more pandering for any ethnocentric group

End the subsidies

Tax everyone equally


Don't waste Pakistani resources on enemy populations, who don't give loyalty to Pakistan

Only time we should act is for Pakistani interests and our interests alone

The Pakistani taxpayer should give her free electricity and subsidies to make her feel better so she doesn't kill innocent people from other provinces

That is not true from the empty slogan - Pakistanis have a place in their heart for Kashmiris and their struggle overall.

But it is true from the elites saying it(and a thousand other slogans) as hollow because it was useful earlier(and will be more) for maintaining their control.

What is happening is Kashmir is just a repeat of what happened in Balochistan, in KP, in Karachi, Southern Punjab and Sindh .., and what happened in EP to an extent as well.

Simply because what people do recognize initially as elite abuse is easily hijacked to an ethnic narrative because that stokes more emotion in people of the subcontinent along with religion rather than some class rights - otherwise communism would have had a greater hold in these areas.

The military venn diagrams into the elite establishment - and then can bungle it all up.
Simplistic pigeonholes wont solve it nor will excuses for any particular player be it fauj or PTI or PPP or PML(N) politicians or bureaucrats here or in KP or anywhere.

AJK was the same, the nationalists hardly used to have a voice but they are well connected, educated and know how to play politics, so once the state started to attack and kill the people, the nationalists such as JKLF slowly hijacked the protests, now its all about saving Kashmiri blood from the corrupt government and elites backed by armed forces. Majority of those protesting want a better system, their rights etc, but ofcourse within them some nationalists are trying to lobby them for their own means. The same way some religious extremists backed by Islamabad are working hard to defuse the situation but at the moment ethnic nationalism is winning. Like you mentioned the same happened in other areas but as usual the government quickly looses the narrative, how incompetent.

And history of how Pakistans electricity production.AJK was compensated by us.. Now this unelected Country Government wants to tear up a compensation treaty agreed by our previous governments was the right thing to do for these people losses . If we are going to stop any subsidies or finical aid to these people who lost their farms , surely then return their lands back to them?

What was the population when the mangla dam (made by tax payers money) was made???

How many years have locals been compensated?

Do we expect for the rest of eternity, millions of people will get subsidies and tax breaks forever????



We need to get to a position where every Pakistani has the same rights and same responsibilities


Everyone needs to pay Tax

We can't allow tax payers from some parts of the county, to subsidize others forever

The country needs to utilise resources and develop resources and we can't have chaos and conflict because locals think they have some special right




What are the demands of these people

How much will it cost?

For how long so they want special treatment?

Who will pay for everything? Where will the money come from?

Kashmiri ethnic nationalism is flawed and can NEVER work let alone win. If AJK got independence from Pakistan and made it's own state, the next day the india army would invade it and cause a genocide that would make the Gaza genocide look like a picnic. The end result would be that Kashmiri men would ALL be genocided and Kashmiri women would become breeding machines for indian hindus and sikhs.
