We don't need enemies to destroy us. I will call it Shooting in the foot and It goes both way,
but of course rulers can put people on trial, the irony is that people can not put rulers to the trial hence unbalanced equation . Some have declared themselves outlaw, some lawfully above the Law, above the skies

Might is always right.

Our rulers are mightier than our people. The onus has always been to make great leaders not a great nation. Immortal till time takes its toll on human limitations.

Each one of these dynasties will go down in history as Sufi saints or demigods. 200 years from now some sportsman will bow down to their graves and become great executive leader.

It was indeed a lower turn out. People have to live and face the gun-totting goons after the polls.

However, we should appreciate the fact that democratic process continued in even adverse situation. The enemy desperately wanted to block these polls.
