AJK govt bans Joint Awami Action Committee, notification issued

But - if we do agree that while the establishment is the core of a lot of ills -then it is also a mechanism that potentially could be used to deliver some form of solution because clearly all other avenues have failed.

In words of someone wise...jithay di khoti, othay hi aan khaloti. Why does that khoti reach the place same place every decade?

What needs to change so we finally come to the realization that this simply cannot happen?

And what solution might that be?

Selective truth is not truth. Omission of facts is also not truth. Obfuscation is also not truth. That is all before we even get to the possibility that simple lies are being "peddled".
You are known by the company you keep. Who else has banned Al Jazeera? The Zionist state and some family run dictatorships.

Semi confirmed as of now some lumber 1 related goons have taken over hospitals/clinics/pharmices and are refusing to sell the local people of AJK medicines
the people who got injured are either being denied treatment and have to look for volunteer doctors/nurses or are arrested when they arrive to get treated and whisked away in unmarked vehicles
as of now death toll stands at 80+ still a little bit far from the 100 digit mark

If they banned al jazeera over their selective reporting of our fight with TTA cavemen then i would have supported them but since they banned them on the correct and factual reporting of the situation in AJK it pretty much shows where lumber 1 priorities lie right now

But - if we do agree that while the establishment is the core of a lot of ills -then it is also a mechanism that potentially could be used to deliver some form of solution because clearly all other avenues have failed.
The only avenue you have tried is the establishment. Directly or from behind the scenes.

Words cannot express the disappointment I have in this military anymore. Every time I try to write a long paragraph to convey my feelings it falls short. I know I'm not alone. Everyone on this forum but the Markhor Fanboy gang is fed up too even if they're not saying it out loud.

The sheer arrogance and behaviour on display is maddening. It is polarising and teetering on the edge of treason. The holiness, the 'Us vs Them' and the 'With us or against us' mindset has proven to be a disaster.

If it's not confirmed then why you are spreading it? If it's now confirmed then provide evidence.

There are over a hundred thousand sons of the soil from Kashmir serving in Pak armed forces. These brave men face the enemy eyeball to eyeball at the borders. Now you compare these brave sons of the soil with a few hundred beghairat sell outs who are acting as Dovel's dogs who are cowardly hiding either behind a human shield of children and women or holed up in bushes around mountain gorges. Like those shameless Indian dogs, you too have fallen to disgrace with ghaddari to your motherland.

I have noticed that you're one filthy yo*thia continuously spreading lies. You should be ashamed of yourself for lying and lying, and repeatingly lying. Shame on you.

Why do you think they are defending refugee seats so ardently?

70 saal baad bhi refugees with a connection and pain for Kashmir but business and loot in Lahore.

These days that conclusion is that a hard state is more successful in policy than a democratic state.

Hence the accusatory and us vs them mentality in their pressers.

Question is, when will reality hit?

You have cops surrendering to TTP and then getting kharcha pani to go home. There's only one party here winning hearts and minds and it ain't us. Then you say the locals support TTP and give them a safe haven. What else are they supposed to do when this is happening? Say no and get their head put on a stake?

The QRF going to the station got ambushed themselves. TTP has access to your quadcopters and drone guns 3 days after your photo ops. You set up a checkpoint outside Quetta and get ambushed. BLA might as well have a production house on retainer at this point.

And what do you do? Make fun of BLA's videos keh yeh terrorist organization nhn koi movie company hai, and then give a lecture on right and deference to the state and political economy.

The tone deafness is shocking.

"Major (Retd.) Mumtaz Hussain Shah in his accounts of the Battle of Sylhet Fortress, detailed how Pakistani units became completely cut off from each other. Convoys and Quick Reaction Forces (QRFs) sent to relieve besieged police stations or border outposts were routinely ambushed by guerrillas who had perfect local intelligence provided by the villagers"

"November 1971, Major General Rao Farman Ali (advisor to the Governor of East Pakistan) personally flew to Rawalpindi to brief the high-ups at GHQ. He clearly explained the "grim scenario" and warned that a massive Indian invasion, aided by the Mukti Bahini, was imminent.

Despite direct reports from Major General Farman Ali and Eastern Command about the imminent encirclement and the complete loss of local control, GHQ in Rawalpindi essentially dismissed the gravity of the situation. In response to Eastern Command's desperate pleas for reinforcements to stop an all-out invasion, Rawalpindi dispatched a completely inadequate force of only six companies of soldiers to Dhaka just before the full war broke out"

Now I am not saying things are the same everywhere but Balochistan & KP is mirroring here with the same tactics applied.

Same "neutralized" figures released by briefings. Same "all cleared" reports year after year, Government(we need to take every government and not just the current one into account) after government...

The AJK situation is not there yet - but at this point REGARDLESS of foreign funding or not - JAAC is now essentially creating the space for either mass calls for AJK independence(regardless of what India does or does not do)

My solution is real democracy as it has not been tried here in 80 years.... not once given a clean run.... That is the untested door..... And if we try it and still fail, at least we fail on a principle instead of on our knees....
I disagree in that both the window - and the will for this does not exist and NO PROOF exists that this can EVER be implemented without total suppression or plain hijacking along ethnic(as already evidenced) lines.

I see the lack of ability with the collective and individual known as Pakistanis - regardless of ethnicity, gender, generation or job title to achieve or give rights.

But, this disappointment is useless and frankly ok as an emotion to watch the fire from the sidelines - not to actually provide solutions to seek change in any meaningful way that still preserves the state.

I know this is a discussion forum but really why bother at all. Its not like any idea here could eventually bounce its way up to the political/industrial/social circles. Even if it did it wouldn't matter because they have no power.

Army has all the power and they see every problem as a nail and themselves the hammer. Their thinking is binary and tunnel visioned. They are incapable of handling such sensitive issues but we have no choice but to watch them fumble like they always have since the 50s when they first took over (or earlier if you believe the ambulance breaking down wasn't random).

Well - lets look at it if this was a company - also enjoyable (in a twisted way) by letting AI do its thing.

So if Pakistan was a company - it would be a leveraged industrial group with a security subsidiary that owns the holding company.

And if the CEO of the company is doing:
CEO behaviourCorporate outcome if this were a firm
Title inflation / dual roleBoard independence collapses; agency risk spikes (classic dual-CEO problem)
Strategy set by promoter, not boardStrategy becomes unchallengeable; bad bets not killed early
External IR over internal opsStock pops on “strategic partnership” headlines while factories burn
Hard internal cultureShort-term compliance, long-term fear culture, bad news doesn’t travel up
Brand messaging that backfiresMarkets hear “we’re the ugly truck that can wreck the luxury car”—customers and talent flee; partners price in volatility
Kinetic “restructuring” of problem unitsCost-cutting by closing stores instead of fixing product; regional franchises go hostile
Political interference as “aligned management”Related-party deals; minority shareholders (voters) lose voice

What is "management" optimizing:
International Relations = Investor Relations + Key Account Sales
A company whose CEO spends most of the week on roadshows and strategic MoUs, while plant managers report rising accidents, theft, and walkouts.

Performance grade (IR side): mixed / short-term pass
Customers buy one product only (security cooperation), not the whole conglomerate. That’s like surviving on a single defence contract while consumer and industrial arms bleed.

Internal Policy = Operations, HR, Franchise Control

KP & Balochistan = loss-making regions where local “store managers” (police) are attacked, QRFs ambushed, and “competitors” (TTP/BLA) take shelf space. Leadership’s answer is more security headcount and kill metrics, not a new customer-value proposition.

AJK = angry franchisee association (JAAC) banned after pricing/representation disputes—classic “sue the franchisees” move that kills brand loyalty.

Political HR = high turnover, loyalty filters, weak independent directors

Culture = “hard state” = command-and-control, not continuous improvement.

A multi-province retail/industrial group where HQ answers every store riot with more security guards and a ban on staff unions, while refusing to renegotiate rent, wages, or profit share.

Performance grade (ops side): fail / deteriorating - HQ metrics and PR over ground P&L.

Here your cabinet are hired professional managers and PM is CEO of a subsidiary who must hit quarterly cash covenants while the group Executive Chairman runs M&A, firing, and external alliances without board minutes.

So you have stabilization without strategy which leads to:

Credit rating under permanent watch
Cost of capital up
Talent flight
Regional write-downs — Balochistan/KP treated as impaired assets; security opex crowds out growth capex.

Medium term outlook options:

Optimistic Soft landing: Executive Chairman steps back; real independent board (parliament/judiciary); political settlement in loss-making regions = turnaround plan.

Distressed sale / breakup - worst case: “subsidiaries” (Baloch/KP dynamics) become permanent drag leading to either forced or even voluntary spin off?

Zombie firm (most likely): Survives on creditor forbearance and one big client (geopolitics), never compounds value for ordinary shareholders (citizens).

The current style of leadership means - they represented by FM can still look like a deal-making Executive Chairman. Internally the firm is running the classic failure mode: HQ believes the strategy deck; the branches are on fire. In corporate life that ends in forced restructuring or breakup.

The only avenue you have tried is the establishment. Directly or from behind the scenes.
Thanks for the unneeded obvious input which has little value when it shows a mechanism not the underlying root cause.

police burning motorcycles. @hussain0216, your jahil police are burning transportation.
P.S. I am labelling them police for sentimental purposes.
