The killings did take place though, the area was under martial law, so those who fired on armed forces were shot back at, the rebels took sanctuary inside masjids, buildings, schools etc, the army most likely took strict action which led to many deaths. The Bangladeshi rebels also killed 10,000s but people choose to ignore their human rights violations, by the way when Bangladesh was created 1971, even after that 10,000s were killed, arrested, assassinated, all by Mujib private militia.

From my experience with Pakistanis, we have people who follow 100 different mullahs, all with different opinions and agendas, then those who follow PTI, Pmln, PPP opinion to the grave, those who follow local ethnic opinion so we have 20 different ethnic nationalist movements, then those who are neither here or there, and army followers whom I only met on PDF which are like 10 people.

In my opinion the state of Pakistan is weak, they fail to produce counter narrative to all these people and different ideologies, we could not counter the fundamentalists ideology for 25 years, could not produce counter narrative. If you dont teach your children right from wrong then someone else will, if you dont befriend them then someone else will. The state needs to look after its people, educated them, build their ideology, then they can travel anywhere in the world and noone can misguided them. For this we needed a clean political party, I thought we had one from 2011 onwards and all youth were happy but even that went downhill, so now back to 1990s rolas. If not a political party we must have some kind of narrative building platform or organisation/movement which builds strong patriotic Pakistanis, unites them together, builds a pro Pakistan community but knowing Pakistani state they will recruit Lashkar Taiba to start this. Honestly its all incompetence people in power, its basic stuff, no nation can survive without it these days.

A single american pilot killed 150,000 Japanese civilians because the american pilot dropped a nuke on Japan. Pakistan didn't have nukes in 1971 and we would not use them on bangladeshi civilians. 40,000 lightly armed Pakistani troops spread all over bangladesh without supplies and air support would NOT be able to kill 3 million bangladeshi cvilians because over 100,000 heavily armed bangladeshis who formed part of the East Pakistan Army battalion, backed by a 1 million strong bangladeshi militia would have easily stopped a genocide of that scale. So unless 40,000 lightly armed Pakistani soldiers in bangladesh in 1971 somehow broke the laws of physics than how were it possible for 3 million bangladeshis to be killed by them?

It is a LIE, but it was accepted as a fact by many for over 50 years until it was disproved around 2 or 3 years ago. It's the fault of Pakistanis for not refuting the lies against Pakistan much earlier.
