Pakistan changed the gun barrel as it didn't passed the trials before purchase amongst dozens of other things changed to meet the specs.

This is ironically true for a few components in some systems. If not Indian made but BEL micro controller designs were looked at to see what made them tick because the same subcomponents were to be used.

One thing I noticed was it was missing some ERA from the sides and also from frontal protection on the turret ( composite or era modules idk )...
I've found that some of its ERA is being used on FV-101s.. Cool to see that it's still being used...
In hindsight, VT-4's performance has been very underwhelming... I understand that we produce our own barrels for the VT-4... Issue is we don't know what's causing the failure of these barrels even though legacy systems have performed better (M48s).. if it's maintenance, then that's minor... If it's metallurgical then depends upon who provides us with the metal rods for the barrel... Previously it was France, I've heard...

i am going to cope and say tanks will disappear because of drones , although we have had them for a good while now these issues should be known and hopefully will be fixed or were fixed ( who knows maybe this is what Haider was for)

jokes aside, haider has a high level of indigenous content, including the gun barrel. Im not worried
