Another big success for SpaceX and the Starship program

Also looked like there was minimal burn through on the heat shield. That’s a major success

That was the most amazing part. I think that now clinches the design as sound.

Those new record breaking 350 bar Raptor 3 engines should finally be installed on the next flight.

I think there was some on the aft flaps but it might be where tiles were removed. IMO, it’s easily the best performance yet from the heat shield. This test has to give SpaceX a ton of confidence heading into V3 Starship. We’re 2-3 flights away from a Starship catch

I was just cursing SpaceX coz Starlink satellite trails ruined many of Deep Space Photos that I spent nights on in the past months, glued to my telescope and I'm finding it out now.

But then I saw the videos in this thread and I forgive SpaceX, totally ! The work they are doing is Awesome ! Love them despite the fact that my back hurts and they ruined the images lol.

Whenever I see this all, I cannot help appreciate the work Apollo teams did, with getting those huge Saturn Rockets into space with the limited tech of the 60s & 70s. US has been marvelous at amazing humanity again and again.

I hope SpaceX quickly brings over than golden era of US Tech once again with the Martian missions this time.

The Starship program is almost too big to fail at this point. The manufacturing work they’re doing at Starfactory alone is unprecedented. They’ll be churning out Starships in a few years. Many thought it was impossible
