American man reveals Indian CEO took over a firm, booted out founders, hired Indians. Post goes viral amid H1B visa debate

It will be good to bookmark this thread and come back 3-4 years later to see whether Indian influence (whether in form of outsourcing or immigration) has come down wrt US tech industry. It is possible of course that thanks to AI the total employment in IT sector may come down for all concerned. But I know nothing of this industry and will let experts like Ghotok babu (@AjayGhatak) to opine on the same.

Regards

I get depressed at thought of thinking about posts 5 year's down the line

You could end up effectively chronicling your life via forum

Very data generous

@r3alist

I guess you missed my Kevin Flanagan quiz. Let me just jot down the main points. He was a techie working with BankAm who was laid off and his job offshored to Bangalore. Around the same time, lots of Indians were coming to US on various visas, not just H1B. He commited suicide. This happened in 2003. There was a huge amount of resentment against Indian immigrants at that time. Now, 22 years later tell me has Indian presence in US tech industry (whether it is immigrants or outsourcing) increased or decreased.

Regards

It is just that one South African immigrant is supporting hundreds of thousands of Indians H1b immigrants. Should this be a surprise?

I thought there was no such thing as racism. 🤣🤣 Suddenly racism is a real thing. Black African Americans are masters of analysing racism.

Indians have been going round telling everyone - west isn’t racist lol

Demonising Muslims in U.K. and blacks in US.

Suddenly they have discovered racism lol

MAGA is turning against the likes of Patrick Bet David lol And learning about their con!

Patrick is an Iranian immigrant. That should tell you how much "Patrick" Patrick really is. He has been licking the Indians dry for a few years now.

They have played the anti Muslim card to hijack the right.

And then used their power to game the immigration system.

You have to applaud their cunning lol

Well without this the american establishment was not anti muslim at all.

Actually, there is more to this story. The truth behind all of this hate. Its a cottage industry of sorts.

Otherwise why will some random arse black folks go through all the trouble of making videos on unhygienic Indian street foods of all things?

This entire cottage industry sprang up since Musk for increased monetisation of twitter. Its easy money with very little risk involved. Indians do not fly planes in buildings, they do not blow up themselves, they do not go to school and start firing their AR15. At worst they will crib on twitter but that will be the extent of it. Heck, given Indian's reputation of stingy, they do not even sue people.

Fortunately .... steps are being taken...

I am not an Indian citizen. May be some folks in India can take it up with Mini-Info&Broad or something and get twitter firewalled from India for few months. That will fix thing pretty fast.

I know PBD is Iranian dude!
I know him through TYT.

I was making a broader point about Indians.

Iranians, in west, mostly keep a low profile.
