An Incident happened today ...Made me really wonder...

Kirgil is bit off topic I am afraid minor petty skirmish, i think thread is really not about India /Pakistan dynamic

Last night I happened to get a message. It was from a physician (Palestinian) who also happens to be Spiritual Guide I recently met him few times

The person shared a video on Palestine (general public discussion), how Genocide is taking place there and how no Muslim Countries have come to help for Palestinian Cause Diplomatically or otherwise. The video stated Palestinians are on their own, guarding the Aqsa Mosque and they have protected the Holy Lands even before the 1900 with same Dedication. Obviously the person concerned for his countrymen/women

But his words hit it hard when he said, where is the Muslim Nations when it comes to protecting the Holy Land or protect the people from such genocide.

I kept wondering all day how to Explain to poor man , that Pakistan's whole Elder leadership is in Prison for past 150 days and we don't have the capacity (As Nation) to offer even condolences or encouragement to people who lost lives (women /children / elderly or other poor souls caught in cross fire)

In end I said ...

The only thing I could say was I agree I wish there was more solidarity in representing the case of Palestinian people on Global Arena

People do care dearly and you know most people believe in Human Rights and freedom to live , have home, jobs and family. People do care about their suffering.

But for large portion of 2 hours, I was just confused how to explain to him the scenario happening in Pakistan - How can I explain to the guy whose own people are facing genocide that out here in Pakistan things are grim our own Police in Pakistan is picking up people.

I wish I could assure him that Pakistan is 100% behind this cause to help the folks suffering in Palestine in these harsh times.

Such matters can be only solved at State Level or UN Level.

It really left some conflicting thought ...what a terrible time to have this crisis in Pakistan.

Did he explain what he really was expecting from Israel after Hamas goes around slaughtering 1000 Israeli civilians and kidnapping 200 Israelis including dozens of women & children

Military supiriority? Karil was an utter disaster for Pak. Fauj was so utterly humiliated that it left it's soldiers to be eatern by vultures and dogs. There were scared of even acknoledging their dead, such as the fear of India.

It was the Indian army which gave them proper military(Islamic) burials. https://www.nytimes.com/1999/07/17/world/india-buries-soldiers-that-pakistan-won-t-claim.html
If Pak Fauj was as afraid as Indians like to believe, they would not have attempted Kargil to begin with.

30,000+ Indian soldiers and the IAF could not dislodge hardly a few thousand unsupported soldiers disguised as guerilla fighters. Pakistan pulled out because of pedophile Clinton's pressure on Sharif Administration, not because it was "afraid" of India.

Sorry but is Iran not smart to understand and make peace with Saudi if this is western ploy?

LOL, I didn't mean to imply that Iran is innocent in all this. They have their own agenda and constantly creating mischief in the region. Nor did I write anywhere that this is a Western ploy. Not sure where you got that from.

P.S. My reference to Brits and French was to the Sykes-Picot agreement in early 20th century, not this particular incident.

This is same BS as Hamas is Israel creation but Palestinians and Muslim world cheere for Hamas. Decide what is correct and stick with it.

It may have been created to weaken the PA and create political division within the Palestinians but that history is irrelevant now since it is the only group that seems to fight back against Israeli tyranny.

There are lots of armchair general second guessing Oct 7 but we don't know what triggered it. While there is sympathy for the Palestinians' plight, there is not much unity in terms of action because there is lots of distrust within the Muslim world.

Muslims at this point need khilafat , one ruler to make them a single nation, only then we can fight the war that has been shoved on us

Do Palestinians find Hamas even remotely responsible for what's happening in Gaza ?

I suspect many of them praise them as the only group that fought back against continued Israeli tyranny. The pro-Israeli narrative is that this conflict started on Oct 7. The Palestinian narrative is that Oct 7 was retaliation and merely another event in a century long war.

It is easy for armchair generals to pontificate about what was a mistake or not, but we don't know the circumstances on the ground leading up to this latest conflagration.

See, that's why Iranians and Pakistani Shia live in fear. You wish to exterminate their faith. I am sure your Khilafat, just like ISIS would be purely Sunni.

If you feel unity is so important why don't you support a Shia Khilafat? Would Sunnis live under it's rule?

I think majority of Gazans hate Hamas.

Last election was held in 2006 , if Hamas had majority population's support , they would've conducted elections in 18 years.
This would've given Hamas a chance to function like some IRGC type state affiliated militia.

Hard to tell. The liberal West punished Gazans really hard for exercizing their democratic right and electing Hamas last time.

Almost three in four Palestinians believe the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas on Israel was correct, and the ensuing Gaza war has lifted support for the Islamist group both there and in the West Bank, a survey from a respected Palestinian polling institute found.

It's so nice of you to be concerned about us but Pakistani Shia are not opposed to Muslim unity. Thank you anyway for your heartfelt concern.

What do you mean not opposed to Muslim unity? That they would become part of the Sunni Khalifate?

Why don't you join a Califate lead by the Shias if you're not opposed to Muslim unity?

Hi,

Yes---an average Palestnian does---. But they are afraid of the hamas operatives---. These are the thugs of the worst kind.

Just remember---Hamas was created by israel---. thru that blind cleric---.

So you mean to say Iran is supporting an Israeli puppet ?

LOL because dreams of Khilafat (of any variety) are just that -- childish dreams.

Half of this forum is about childish dream and fantasies.

Shias would rather become Sunni than have a Hindu Bharti speak for them
