I do think that the routine itself is too dangerous, and serves no value if the change in G forces can provide G-LOC or A-LOC that is so borderline. Positive G is easier for pilots to manage than the -ve to +ve, so the routine itself must be changed if they want to continue to demonstrate the Tejas.
Yes, you dont show much about the platform by having a maneuver centred on -ve G.
I went back to a few Jf-17 demos, and PAF is wise enough to not do these. Beyond that, the only oblique maneuver (those that are mix off and not exclusively vertical OR horizontal plane) PAF does is the barrel roll.

With such -ve G ones, you only show that you have fit human who can take the unique physiological strains of -ve G, and in this case the human was not fit enough on that given day.

Someone may have posted this earlier.

Now this English guy covers a lot of RAF Crashes, but i've Timestamped the part that may be of interest to those who may be wondering where it may have all gone wrong.

Note: He is NOT stating that THAT is exactly what did happen, but is explaining the difference between two demos...

Just today, a US military MQ-9B UAV stationed in South Korea crashed. At the same time, a Japanese MQ-9B UAV suffered propeller damage when its propeller struck the ground during landing.

India also has MQ-9B UAVs.

So... will India follow suit?
I think India will not only follow it rather they will excel in it.

90 effing pages to a bloody Tejas crash.. what a croc.. how many pages were devoted to the Fateful F16 crash of pilot Nauman… how many sympathetic posts from Indians..
Yesterday’s news … move on…
Because there is nothing new about an F-16 nor a loop. Plus the Pakistani media was not not coming out the next day with all sort of conspiracy theories. So dont blame us, we have nothing better to do.
