Violent shelling targeting the IRGC Hajj camp in Ahwaz right now
Statement Issued by the Coordinating Authority of Ahwazi OrganizationsThe Coordinating Authority of Ahwazi Organizations condemns in the strongest terms the Iranian aggression against the sister Arab states, and declares its full solidarity with any Arab decision that confronts this aggression. In light of the dangerous military escalation resulting from the aggressive and expansionist policies pursued by the Iranian regime, which threaten the security and stability of the region and directly endanger the sister Arab states due to its insistence on developing its nuclear and missile programs, and its continued destabilization of regional security; the Coordinating Authority of Ahwazi Organizations expresses its strongest condemnation and unequivocal denunciation of the Iranian attack that targeted sister Arab states. This attack constitutes a flagrant violation of state sovereignty, a rejected aggression against their security and stability, and a direct threat to Arab national security, particularly the security of the Arab Gulf states. This aggression once again confirms the aggressive and expansionist nature of the Iranian regime, which has not been content with forcibly annexing Arab Ahwaz, suppressing its people, plundering its wealth, and occupying the UAE's Arab islands, but has gone further to target sister Arab states in pursuit of imposing its policies and dominance by force, with utter disregard for international laws, principles of good neighborliness, or the security and stability of the region's peoples. Instead of responding to the legitimate demands of the peoples within Iran's political geography for freedom and justice, this regime continues its aggressive policies that have brought nothing but destruction and instability. From our national and pan-Arab responsibility, the Coordinating Authority of Ahwazi Organizations affirms the following:1) Its absolute condemnation of this Iranian aggression, and its unequivocal rejection of any assault targeting the sovereignty, security, and stability of the sister Arab states, foremost among them the Arab Gulf states.2) Its full and steadfast solidarity with the sister Arab states, standing alongside them as one united front, and its complete support for their legitimate right to defend their territories, sovereignty, and security in accordance with international laws and covenants.3) Holding the Iranian regime fully responsible for this dangerous escalation and its repercussions, and for all threats to regional and international security that may result from it.4) Calling on the sister Arab states to strengthen their unity and coordination in confronting this common threat, and to adopt a unified Arab stance that protects Arab national security and puts an end to Iranian aggressive policies.5) Calling on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities in deterring this regime and putting an end to its aggressive projects that threaten international security and peace.6) Affirming the Arab Ahwazi people's unequivocal rejection of using Ahwazi land, its resources, and the sons of its people to serve aggressive projects targeting the Arab Gulf states and the Arab nation, and affirming that the Ahwazi people stand alongside their Arab brothers and refuse to be a tool in the hands of this regime. The Authority affirms that the Arab Ahwazi people, who have suffered for decades from Iranian domination, repression, discriminatory policies, and the plundering of their wealth, fully understand the nature of this aggressive regime, and renew their steadfast position in standing alongside their brothers in the sister Arab states. It confirms that the security of the Arab Gulf states is an inseparable part of Ahwaz's security, and that any aggression against the Arab states is an aggression against the Arab Ahwazi people themselves. The Arab Ahwazi people renew their affirmation of their authentic Arab affiliation, their pride in their Arab identity, and their historical and national ties to their Arab nation, considering themselves an inseparable part of it, with their destiny linked to its destiny, and standing with it in confronting all threats targeting its security and stability. In this context, the Coordinating Authority of Ahwazi Organizations calls on the sister Arab states, and foremost among them the Arab Gulf states, to stand alongside the Arab Ahwazi people, and to support its legitimate struggle for freedom, the restoration of its national rights, and enabling it to exercise its right to self-determination in accordance with international laws and covenants; considering that the freedom of the Arab Ahwazi people is a fundamental step toward enhancing the national security of the Arab Gulf states and security and stability in the region and the broader area..Coordinating Authority of Ahwazi OrganizationsDate: February 28, 2026
Political Statement The Coordinating Body of Ahwazi Organizations The Ahwaz, along with the broader political geography of Iran and the region, is passing through a decisive historical moment amid the ongoing military escalation between the Iranian regime on one side, and the United States of America and Israel on the other. The Iranian regime bears full responsibility for the policies that have led to this escalation, and for the ongoing violations against oppressed peoples, foremost among them the Ahwazi Arab people, as well as the non-Persian peoples who were forcibly annexed against their will to Iran's political geography and who suffer from marginalization and persecution—a situation that constitutes a direct threat to regional and international security and stability. The Ahwazi organizations, under the umbrella of the Coordinating Body, affirm that the current phase requires unifying the ranks, strengthening national solidarity, and mobilizing energies to defend national and human rights, foremost among them the right of the Ahwazi Arab people to self-determination. The Body also calls on all the people of Ahwaz to embody a spirit of responsibility and vigilance, to work on protecting society, preserving security and stability, safeguarding civilian lives and property, and maintaining public institutions, in a manner that reflects national awareness and commitment to the interests of the people. The Body directs an urgent appeal to the international community, humanitarian organizations, the United States of America, Arab countries, and all parties concerned with preserving international and regional security and stability, to shoulder their legal and humanitarian responsibilities in protecting the Ahwazi Arab people and all non-Persian peoples, and to press for an end to the violations perpetrated by the Iranian authorities, and to put a stop to the policies that threaten the stability of the region and the world. The Coordinating Body affirms that the unity of the national ranks, adherence to legitimate rights, and joint action among the people of Ahwaz represent the fundamental pillar for achieving freedom, restoring national rights, and ensuring a future based on dignity, justice, and the right to self-determination.
