Article 245 invoked, Deployment called out in Pindi

The PTI has been completely defanged and after the (alleged) victory in the Sindoor War, FM AM is far more popular than IK. This can't be fear of PTI protests, I suspect it could be intelligence of terror attacks. Hopefully, there are no untoward incidents.

Regards

Army has been requested by provincial government of Punjab. So obviously the provincial government is the one that is afraid and want to prevent any marches towards pindi-islo.

Very surprising- the security situation in Pindi and Punjab in general seems to be quite stable.

Since Hindustan has surrendered and abandoned its long term objectives against Pakistan, we have had lots of spare military assets lying around. We can now deploy them on ceremonial duties.

3 companies is small, I bet they have more then that on rotation just for guard duties at GHQ.

I don’t understand this topi-drama.
Why playing with people lives, fix the country and watch the borders.

@Master Chief

Agreed, after Ops Sindoor, IND isn't a factor anymore.

@313Ghazi

Ghazi sb,

Martial law incoming.

Doesn't seem convincing. Why? IK and PTI have been defanged. While there are minor insurgencies in KPK and B'stan, the core of Pakistan (Punjab + Sindh) matters seem settled.

Thanks to Indian attack on Pakistan, we have a field Marshal now.

It’s either for Law and Order in case PTI long march turns into riots, or they are gearing up before the announcement of the division of provinces, or the least probable yet possible, imposition of Marshal Law.

Dictators love clinging to power.
Definitely for PTI protest.
Provinces related protests will be in provinces, and only in sindh.
It is very significant though.
245 for six months.

Any informed members have knowledge?
245 for six months is very significant.
Just can't be PTI. I doubt PTI can get people out in large numbers.
Is it first time in pak?

There will be no PTI protest , a deal is done , all we are watching right now is topi drama.... PTI , specifically Imran khan ,doesn't want to be seen as a deal maker ...
Long live the king the king is dead.

Asim Munir isn't more popular than Imran Khan. Despite putting Imran Khan in jail he still can't match his aura.

@SecularNationalist

The good FM doesn't derive his aura by jailing IK. He derives his aura from (allegedly) beating the Hindu in the Sindoor War, defeating AFG in the war last winter and by geopolitical victories (by being the interlocutor in the US-IRN deal, Mecca deal)
