Scrub through the last 20 years and there hasn't been a tragedy of this scale in any military run CMH hospitals. Lekin tumhari gand mai toh ungal hai to politicise random issues.

I've worked in all hospitals and government hospitals across the country are in shambles. They're just waiting in turn for their next tragedy to strike. Healthcare isn't taken seriously by any government in Pakistan.

CMH serves the armed forces, the rulers of the country since 1958, whereas government hospitals are for the general public aka the bloody civilians. The population pool the well-resourced CMH serves is miniscule compared to what the poorly resourced public hospitals have to serve. If a bloody civilian with money goes to CMH, they are still put at the back of the line and no poor man will be tolerated at CMH or in private hospitals.

This is the unjust system whose praises you are singing.

I was being paid Rs. 45,000 during my house job, and even that was nowhere near enough. Junior Doctors today are still being paid around Rs. 70,000, which barely covers basic living and commuting costs. At one point, my salary barely covered my fuel.

So don't lecture staff about some imaginary obligation to risk their lives. I had a duty to my patients, but I also had a duty to stay alive.

Most of the staff did what they could under the circumstances. Everything beyond that is hearsay from people who weren't even there.

And here's the part people conveniently ignore: the people running these hospitals at the top are often political appointments under the civilian system you defend so passionately. They control the administration, staffing, resources, and safety standards, while junior doctors are left underpaid, overworked, and expected to take the blame when the system fails.

So if you want accountability, look up the chain of command. Don't dump the failures of an entire hospital system onto the junior doctors standing at the bottom of it.

Who are you to dispute actual witnesses and victims at the scene ?

Your doctor pay in Pakistan and then whatever big bucks you must now be making in America are nothing compared to the pain of parents who lost their newborns in a hospital fire due to the negligence and cowardice of the staff. For you to even speak like this indicates a narcissistic personality.

And FYI this particular institution, PIMS, has also been taken over by the army in its long encroachment into everything outside of its domain. Why else do you think PIMS was selected to sabotage a recent Supreme Court ruling ?

Bhai the volume at CMH rawalpindi is insane and way more compared to PIMS. But the difference is majority of officers including generals are treated at CMH, so they've maintained those standards. Where as majority of our civilian cadre end up abroad including chutyias from PMLN, and PPP. Like someone said you won't give a shit about healthcare until you utilise it.

Btw CMH serves around 70% civilian population. That's how they also generate funds. You overseas lot are just deranged fucks tbh peddling propaganda 24/7. The issues with government hospitals is just the casual stance of our government. They just don't give a shitt.
