This helicopter encountered technical difficulties on a routine training sortie from Pakistan Army Aviation Base Multan, forcing the crew to make an emergency landing on a road at Pattal Union Council, Kot Addu city, in the Muzaffargarh district of Punjab province. The crew flew the Cobra back to its base following on-site repairs by technicians from Multan.

5 dead there were no passengers on board just the flight crew.

These MI 17 crash when they are actually needed.

A legacy of sacrifice and loyalty to the motherland. On top left Maj Sultan(Shaheed),embraced shahdat in 1991 once his son then GC Shahid Sultan was in 2nd term. 34 years on Lt Col Shahid Sultan embraced shahadat & his son is now in 2nd term

A tragic incident indeed and RIP to all the departed souls but does this accident qualifies to be posted in the Army attrition !

This helicopter was destroyed when it crashed near Pindiali, Mohmand, in Bajaur District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, while carrying relief supplies to the area, which had suffered major flooding. All five crew members on board were killed.
