I certainly hope so. Not only is his record really bad on internal security, he is a bigot who openly declared all non-Muslims in Pakistan as 2nd class citizens. Even Musharaf with all his bad qualities (and being a back stabber) was better than Munir.

Hmm, no Musharraf was as big a political and security disaster as Munir is turning out to be. Musharraf did have the advantage of the US pumping dollars into Pakistan, via aid, loans, CSF funds so as to give a temporary sugar high to the economy. Munir doesn't even have that.

He is proving to be a duffer. Army needs to be kept neutral, only if armed rebellion takes place but in AJK it is non existent. Why not let the government handle this, instead AJK government is playing politics, they are pretending this is between army and JAAC and army who claim to be the brains of Pakistan are falling in to the trap.

Question is how long will this particular duffer Munir will be tolerated. Zia ul Haq hung on for 11 years and Musharraf for eight before being removed by the Establishment. How long will Muneera hang on and how much destruction will he cause in that tenure ???

These revolutionaries believe Pakistan Army to be guardians of the systematic injustice that plagues any and every society anywhere in the world. 1971, Jordanian Black Friday, Afghan war, comparison to Israeli occupational forces and projection of a colonial entity to be liberated from, are all fair game for these highly resourceful educated revolutionaries.

Army/rangers must refuse to shoot at any citizen, if anyone breaks the law arrest them and give them sentences but no killings. Instead the state wants to be hard state and use brutal force.

I don't know about KPK or Balochistan but AJK issue wasnt even that big, all they had to do was counter the propaganda, take the information war to the JAAC but instead the whole riayast crumbled and now using brutal force to get their way. What a useless government. I can imagine Balochistan was exactly the same, KPK extremism is the bigger monster but then again we all know who created the monster.

They think placid and malleable generals like Faiz Hameed are fit to be the commander of the armed forces, relegated into the obscurity of the barracks as cannon fodder at the fringes of the realm, lesser thans.

This also explains their rationale in legitimizing terrorist organisations like BYC, PTM and TTP and now JAAC and consider Pakistani casualties as a necessary evil, "collateral".

On top of it, Faujduds and Patwaris are rampant on this thread. I think these establishment turds have done more damage to Pakistan (only next to establishment). They are a bigoted bunch who will bring "Yindus", talk about martial supremacy and "pride" in their ethnicity while putting anti-national labels on anyone who disagrees. All this while, Fauj hasn't even achieved a single worthwhile victory vs. India on one side and Afg on the other.

Frankly, there is a small class of same people on other side of the border but still some semblance of democracy and rule of law remains. People might protect govt. and be hostile in talks, but they never support govt. picking weapons against citizenery (e.g., Delhi protests, farmer protests etc.)
