Countries need to ditch the rulebook in this counterterrorism war. It's time to step up the game by getting down and dirty. No more coddling terrorists - it's about arresting their families, holding them at gunpoint, and unleashing psychological warfare. Screw human rights for those who don't deserve it. sow fear among the alienated population. It's time to show these terrorists who's boss.

Policeman martyred in Kuchlak blast

QUETTA: A policeman was martyred, and 15 people, including three cops, were injured in a blast in Kuchlak tehsil of Quetta district on Monday evening.

Tragedy struck during Maghrib prayer in Kachlak village, Katir, as an explosion ripped through a mosque, claiming the life of an officer from the esteemed Eagle Squad, a police source said.
The incident left 15 individuals injured, including three members of the security personnel.

The injured were immediately rushed to nearby medical facilities for treatment.

The police swiftly cordoned off the area, intensifying security measures to maintain public safety and facilitate the ongoing investigation.

A large number of people of the area also gathered at the site of the explosion. The bomb disposal squad immediately mobilised to the site to conduct a thorough investigation, aiming to gather crucial evidence.

As authorities continue to probe the nature and cause of the blast, the community remained on edge, grappling with the shock and grief brought about by the tragic incident.

Balochistan Chief Minister of Mir Sarfaraz Bugti ordered a comprehensive inquiry into the occurrence.

He directed the law enforcement agencies to submit a detailed report, emphasising the urgency of uncovering the circumstances behind the blast. “We will bring the perpetrators to book,” Bugti said.

I just had a weird thought, has the army ever considered consulting or maybe testing hiring a PMC for counter insurgency? 🤔

There's the famous Blackwater, Turkey has their own, and many others
for that 1 they will need money which they dont have
2 they will have share illicit trade network with the company which our boys would love a total control over!
3: terrorism is more a bs excuse for occupation.

You do understand that PMCs make matters worse. Do some research on the human rights violations of XE/BW and Pax in Africa and MENA.

Furthermore these entities are known to harbour foreign hostile agents - why would we let more spies in to Pakistan?

See my next post.

@AJKashmir1 you may not know this but after 2001 Pakistan was a wash with h many PMCs Pax, Dynacorps, Olive, Hill and Associates, G4S and XE to name but a few.

Bari mushkil se in bastards ko nikala tha mulk sey. And you propose letting these bastards back into our country?

You have no idea the damage people like Rehman Malik did to Internal Security by letting these rodents operate in Pakistan.

Man, this is news to me. Absolutely crazy. 😂

And yeah, I was just floating the idea, but honestly even just the idea of consulting with advisors might be a good option. Hate to say it but Pakistan has no strong intellectual culture or many valuable minds in general. The public discourse being so low quality and self hating further points to this.

I'm in a lot of spaces related to Turks, Chinese and even Indians - generally speaking there tends to be a lot of rational thinkers with good input

But in Pakistani spaces there's a weird immature vibe, if anything half the people are calling themselves a terrorist state and see any approach as evil. Why do so many come off as spiritually gay liberals?

Believe it or not Pakistan has a world leading academic counter terrorism experts but they are only appreciated “outside” Pakistan.

I know the “circuit” as this circle is called pretty well. And trust me, most of these outfits are proxies for the CIA etc.

XE is known as the CIAs shadow army for a reason. We don’t need advice from butchers and murderers.

What Pakistan needs is a well defined “counter terrorism” strategy. Trouble is in Pakistan people often confuse Anti Terrorism as being the same as “Counter Terrorism”.

Two separate things entirely.

I don't doubt you on this, it has probably built a lot of experience and strategies over the years. It's unfortunate though how in the general public in Pakistan, the discourse is so weak and immature.

Maybe it's just for the time being following the whole youthiya thing but compared to Chinese, Turks, Indians, it's very childish talk
