Balochistan Terrorism Watch

It just means that there could be 13 or 14 attacks. They just thawed 1-2, and the rest carried on. If we had the intel and still lost control for a few hours or a day, that is no good optics. In fact, that raises another series of questions.
We didn't lose anything, I think the fact we knew saved us . It's never possible to fully know the plan and counter it .

Clearly BLA move got back fired. They end up loosing 100 plus of their men. Pakistan army now using modern tech like dropping bombs from drones, using night vision goggles to eliminate them from their hideouts. As per estimated their are around 2000 BLA fighters and in just 3 days, 5-6% of their men strength taken out. Hopefully operation against them won't stop here. Their facilitators, relatives who knew about them should be taken to task as well.

17 security personnel and 30 civilians is not nothing no matter which way you cut it, A attack involving significant portion or perhaps most of BLA's strength that would have been planned for several months shouldn't have gone unnoticed until the last moment.

A attack like this would have lots of calls and chatter involved questions need to be asked on why the source of these calls weren't being hunted down months ago, also the attack wasn't "foiled" As many khaki fanboys claim on this forum it was just contained to a satisfactory result mostly thanks to the people on the ground.

Also BLA bit off way more then they could chew perhaps if they had concentrated their limited strength on fewer locations the results could have been disastrous.

Just look at the amount of explosives+amo they have
Send regards to Yankees for deliberately leaving loads of weapons in Afghanistan so such attacks can be instigated and also leaving the door open for more weapon deliveries labeling as left over afghans war trophy..

Yeah if BLA concentrated most of its fighters towards Quetta on such a large scale we could have had something similar to what happened in Marawi in the Philippines.

They would have been crushed in a similar way that happened this time.. Same outcome but u can increase or decrease the casualties..

No way, Quetta is simply way too big for that, perhaps they could hold on to small parts of the city for a few days but it would result in them getting slaughtered in the end, I am more referring to them perhaps completely overruning a base or two resulting in a mass casualty Scenario

I don't know if anyone here has been reading their accounts and media before this assault but this was meant to be 'Azadi' day when the back of the occupation forces would be broken, and they would be able to hold areas for a few days, until a major rebellion would start.
They ended up with 147 dead and from intelligence reports it was their most experienced men and commanders. Probably the near end of them now. It's either that or sending their sisters and mums into combat.

According to official statement of Government of Balochistan, families of individuals who join BLA and BLF and fail to report or formally disassociate themselves will be subject to strict legal and administrative measures.
The measures include, but are not limited to:
•Blocking of passports
•Freezing of bank accounts
•Suspension of mobile SIM cards
•Prohibition on the purchase or sale of property
•Termination of contracts with government institutions
•Cancellation of government employment and termination of tenders or official engagements

Finally some repercussions
Much needed, there must be repercussions. Societies don't evolve and build unless they are brought under the law and the law can be an iron fist for militants and terrorists.
