Successful Operation by Security Forces in Kalat On 30 March 2026, security forces observed the movement of two proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) terrorists moving from Sohind towards Kharri Nurgama in Kalat.

A Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately moved to challenge them. Upon detection, the terrorists opened fire, but in the retaliatory action, one BLA terrorist was eliminated. The second injured terrorist managed to flee the scene.

During the operation, 1 x SMG, 5 x magazines, a BLA emblem, and 68 x SMG rounds were recovered. The hunt for the remaining terrorist continues.

What is with them and establishing nakkas , this insurgency is growing day by day , their work force seems like more then the quoted 1500

How many of them were in dera bugti in 2005?? That was just one area. Imagine the whole BLN. Apart from that they are well armed now. And carry leftover NATO weapons from taliban. Usually very lethal against tin can like Toyota Hilux. It's game over as soon as it moves into ambush area. I hope that we induct those Turkish armoured vehicles ASAP in order to effectively counter these terrorists. It's vital now.

I am starting to change my opinion on Baluch, as they have not fall for BLA propaganda during those large scale attacks, and seems like more IBO's are getting scores of BLA fighters. And there was news about Baluch tribes fight with FC against Afghans , and even repel a attack on police post, lets hope that they under that Baluchistan economic situation can be change once the insurgency is gone, Baluchistan can make billions just from Tourism alone.

exactly , even the country own populus will visit Baluchistan in huge numbers , sawat valley economy improved a lot after clearance ops .

Yep, Baluchistan offer a unique Terrain which can bring a different type of tourism, plus the coastal areas can see many hotels, resorts and small/medium size restaurants of international and national chains that can bring massive amount of business and jobs to locals. Just 1 hotel with 30-60 rooms can bring lots of jobs for many, not to mention local vendors with their unique style food stalls and handcrafts.

exactly , beaches of Baluchistan are beautiful , this is a pic of the beach at ormara...found it on google street view , imagine jet skies or paragliding here..
