Balochistan Terrorism Watch

To surmise it one word, money.
Bingo, each armament, drone, sorties cost moonies. And with the IMF stranglehold and debt repayments, we can only spend that much. Hence, this terrorism will continue unabated. I am not sure why folks think that anything is going to change. These mfing attacks have been happening since ages, the time to crush them is long gone. We just cannot handle so many conflicts together.

It can be done, it will just need a shift in strategy and budget. But that will come at the cost of conventional ability vis a vis India. I can recall certain domestic programs like the tank program being affected by the budget squeezes as it had to be redirected towards CT efforts in KPK during the 2010s unless I'm mistaken, @Lion probably knows more.

Is there any genuine solution even possibe at this stage ? At how much area do Pak even have real govt writ and control in Baluchistan, going by news it seem BLA can attack wherever they wish and the are more then willing to bear the cost. Make it peaceful whatever need to be done , by ballot or bullet, but maybe it isn't chaos and it's by design. This can't go on forever.

Yes, but it requires $2-3 billion a year to clean up Balochistan. Shift population to camps and kill anyone outside them. Only zarb-e-azb style operations deter.

Along with obviously bombing Taliban regime leadership.

Thats the elephant in the room. We have a war looming at our doorstep and this time we have to initiate it. Water terrorism is non-negotiable and only raw muscle power can deter the injuns. But, something tells me that we will severely compromise on our covert capabilities in IIOJK and renegotiate the treaty in their favor within an year or two, but they will not give up theirs in return. IMHO, the capabilities of the state seem to be dwindling with the passage of time.

Your enemies have you surrounded and are grinding you down.

Take a $30 billion loan from China to fortify the border and go to war with the taliban and their proxies and end this once and for all.
China isn't giving out freebies anymore, and the military is paranoid of foreign involvement be it the US or China.

We are severely outgunned by India, there is no conventional match, they can attrition us into submission. For what it's worth the insurgency in IOJK has died out, there is almost no activity these days. Started with Bajwa, now Munir seems to be continuing it, likely because Pakistan cannot afford to entangle itself in it.

As such, you make it unaffordable for Bharat vis-a-vis Afganistan. Destroy as much Bharati assets there as possible to slow down their replenishment....
