Bengal has a long history and its economy was much better developed in 1947 than West Pakistan, which was a neglected wasteland during the British Raj. I don't know where you got this idea that West Pakistanis, who were barely literate and developing , managed to provide all these services to East Pakistan. If anything was provided it was likely legacy industry and services from pre-Partition times.

Even today Bangladesh is economically and politically ahead of Pakistan, which remains stuck in a Fauji-Babu dictatorship.

They receive much more in funding then they pay to the exchequer. After all domestic gas at international market rates, means it loses its primary economic utility which is providing a cheap, competitive advantage to local industries. Hat happned instdad is that massive terminal at Port Qasim were built, and thar coal was utilised instead. And Baloch lost leverage. It went from essential to just another small mix.

Not every nationalist claim is correct... but not every grievance is fictional either..... Sui gas being historically undervalued compared to other fields is a well known example....

For years, Sui gas was priced at around Rs 47/MMBTU, while in Sindh, Mari was around Rs 171 and Qadirpur around Rs 240.... Since royalties are calculated on the wellhead price, Balochistan repeatedly argued (hardly without reason) that it was receiving less than it should...... Even OGRA acknowledged before the NFC that Sui's wellhead price remained unusually low compared to other fields....

You can call them delusional all day long.... It still doesn't explain why so many people(not just separatists) believe they got a raw deal...

The real problem is that your entire explanation boils down to "millions of people are idiots" .....That's not a serious argument.... it's an intellectual shortcut...
