i think its very disingenuous to claim mr khan has had no part in the insurgency, and its rise... everyone was involved and everyone has a part to play here. Going back as far as Kargil in 1999, I don't remember us actually disclosing the number of casualties. Heck our stance was that those were Mujahideen and we did not accept the shuhada. Naseem Zehra later told in her book that we had more casualties than we had in East pak in 1971. So this is an old habit.
