Overwhelming majority of people in Balochistan, which was intimidated with the power of bullet by terrorists, are now coming forward and openly supporting the state and some areas they are fighting (side by side with security forces) against those terrorists.

While it's true that the state cannot deploy security men at every inch of Balochistan, anti-terrorist operations are eliminating the terrorists in their hideouts on mountains.

Common people in Balochistan certainly see all that change. It's the time further build on this success.

Once Taliban-Pakistan relations improve, their support for TTP/BLA will decrease.
I am sure no one has thought of this revolutionary strategy before, its not as if the Taliban was brought to power and lobbied for by Pakistan yet this didnt happen.

This is a territorial dispute between Afghanistan-Pakistan, there are no magical good relations that can solve this without some kind of coercision, or war, or one side surrendering. This is a very obvious reading of the situation.

The term Balkanization was first used by an Indian military affairs commentator Rakesh Simha, since then we have seen this word being repeated in multiple documents, reports and articles aimed at destabilizing Pakistan under the soft and fluffy guise of "countering-terrorism" and "promoting liberty", strangely enough all these documents originate from only ONE country... Can you guess which one?

So, if Pakistani commentators wish to highlight this clear and present threat and use the word in context, I don't really see the issue you are taking with the usage of a word. Muhammad Amir Rana a Pakistan based security analyst and winner of the German Peace prize has used this phrase in multiple articles, is he an "pseudo intellectual" too?

I see you are quick to dump the blame on so called "programmers" but lets visit this for a moment, between 2010 and 2025 Balochistan received Rs 2.04 trillion through the NFC Award and an additional Rs 206 billion in loans and grants. The undeniable truth is that Balochistan does not generate enough to sustain itself. Its economy is heavily reliant on financial support from the rest of Pakistan.

The bulk of Balocistan's funds, a staggering Rs 831 billion, comes from the federal government, including Rs 162 billion from gas and oil royalties and Rs 73 billion for development projects.[1]

So, whilst it is right and just that the federal government be held to account, so should the people inside Balochistan's power corridors, that includes the feudal who hold the province hostage with an Iron grip.

How many times will we deflect the failures of these Sardars, Maliks and Nawabs to allow population growth, development and economic security to flourish in lands they consider their own personal fiefdom?

Why is it, that simple facilities like schools and colleges cannot function in the province without the salami and baksheesh of these relics? Why is it that micro business loans given to the most vulnerable in Baloch society to start cottage industries are swallowed up by the sardar's and nawabs and their stooges?

Why is it that the people of Balochistan living in areas rural areas are treated as knaves and vassals of the sardars and nawabs and denied the opportunity to manifest their own destiny?

Now I am not a Punjabi but frankly I find it laughable that the burden of the collective failures of the provincial government, community leaders and tribal leaders of Balochistan is dumped squarely in the lap of Punjab.

The Rs 800 billion flowing into Balochistan come from the revenues generated by other provinces, with Punjab contributing the largest share. Yet, a persistent narrative claims that Punjab is exploiting Balochistan - a claim that is not only misleading but also diverts attention from the real issues.

This convenient rhetoric shifts blame away from local leadership, allowing those truly responsible to evade scrutiny while directing public frustration toward an external adversary. However, facts and figures tell a different story.

Balochistab's governance is a perfect case study of mismanagement, corruption and incompetence. Year after year, billions are allocated for development, yet nothing changes. Roads remain unpaved, schools exist only on paper, and hospitals lack even the most basic medical supplies. I have seen Basic Health Units in SWAT better equipped than most "hospitals" in Balochistan.

All this happens while people of Balochistan struggle for life's basic necessities like clean drinking water, education, healthcare access. Meanwhile their self-styled leaders live a life of unimaginable luxury in sprawling mansions and sending their own spawn
abroad to study at Ivy league universities.

While the people struggle for necessities like clean water, education, and healthcare, their self-styled leaders live in luxury, building sprawling mansions and leading extravagant lifestyles.

This money that is meant for public welfare and development of the province vanishes into a bottomless pit of patronage politics, tribal favoritism and entrenched corruption. The people in power use state resources to solidify their own foundations rather than uplift the province.

Before you dump the collective malba of "accidents" happening and "Learning" how about you look at the root causes of Balochistan's failure to uplift itself first.

Thank you, dear @RescueRanger
I will try to answer.

I am not talking about who introduced the term, I am looking behind.
Message was it is PA that is preventing it. So the question is, why Pakistan balkanization was coined. Post 1971, post 9-11, and till today? And the answer is where the buck stops?
If @RescueRanger is running the show, I am gonna put the blame on him, period.

So come to facts. Army running Pakistan since after the assassination of Liaquat Ali Khan overtly or covertly.
Now, post IK, with total gun power and have the audacity to deny.
How a nobody like sarfraz bugti could become CM of Balochistan? I and you know the answer.
This money that is meant for public welfare and development of the province vanishes into a bottomless pit of patronage politics,

Since post IK, Army is running the country at the granular level, literally. Even lower judiciary to highest, and police to administration.
Army wants to run everything, but don't want the blame. No, Sir, not going to happen. You run the country, you are responsible, you will be blamed, and if law would prevail (though in fantasy), you will be given the exemplary punishment.

Root cause of all this is army is ruling, and with absolute power. With absolute power has come absolute organizational and personal interests.
And by the by, it is Karachi that provided max share. And let's get a complete audit of who produces the most revenue to settle the claim once and for all.

Finality verdict: If army does not go back to its duties, and I have no fantasies, they would NOT, accident is bound to happen.
1971 was small lesson, a bigger cataclysmic event is required.
Sorry to be bitter, facts are bitter.

What's the alternative????

Is democracy Islamic,

Which alternative has any ACTUAL POLICY
where is the manifesto how the alternative will actually run the country or deal with the indians or Afghans or anyone
How will they improve the economy?

Nothing, you literally have nothing

Is just flowery words of bullshit, about rights and bakwas, and endless ethnocentrism

Bangladesh was indeed a lesson, of how allowing extreme ethnocentrism can be devastating for a state
It took extreme action by Pakistan to target and destroy the Hindu population of Bangladesh, that killed many and made millions more run to India to ensure Bangladesh remained a free Muslim state as per partition

We won't make the same mistake again with Afghani and BLA Baloch or anyone else who will oppose Pakistan

According to S Gill, we lost 120 people on 8th July. The issue is that we can see a torched bus, but there's no independent media to verify the losses. BTW, is it also an insult to shudah by not accounting for their sacrifice?

You are amongst who consider army = state, what can one say, impairment is bliss.
You are also confessing that PA was involved in ethno and religious cleansing in East Pakistan.
If that kind of people belong to PA or associated with, not surprising.

Pardon my ignorance, who's S Gill?

The title of this thread is Balochistan terrorism watch. I will remind members not to keep giving everything a political angle please.

Its actually disturbing how everything does a round robin and becomes political here.

There is more than politics at play here, discuss those points. And please less spamming of pointless youtube videos please.

Once again you like many people I have sent in this thread have side stepped the entire debate about why Balochistan is where it is today.
