Again, I wont be surprised if this was an ambush on a convoy. The level of incompetence is touching new heights while brave soldiers keep laying down their lives in road travel, not in actual combat.
That video from Lasbela from 8th July is very painful to watch, 8 soldiers were martyred while traveling through the highway in a civilian pickup truck.

"The bodies of 6 labourers who were kidnapped have been found from Trubat, Balochistan province. Four of the labourers are from Punjab and two from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They were kidnapped by the BLA after snap checking on the Turbat-Mand road. One of them was shot dead on the spot, a resident from the area was also killed when they opened firing on the road."

Pakistan NEEDS to carry out the same sort of operation against baloch terrorists as the indian military did against the khalistan movement between 1984 - 1991. Catch ANY baloch terrorist, suspected terrorist or terrorist sympathizer late in the night, early morning hours and execute them and throw their bodies into a crematorium. The indian military were doing just that against the sikhs, round the clock between 1984 and 1991. Also, start punishing the family members of baloch terrorists too.

Bullet-riddled bodies of 6 kidnapped labourers found in Balochistan's Turbat

QUETTA: The bodies of six of seven labourers who were kidnapped earlier this week in the Turbat city of Balochistan’s Kech district were found with bullet wounds on Thursday, an official told Dawn.
On Tuesday, unidentified armed men had blocked Turbat-Mand Road in the Kalatak area of Kech district and taken away the seven labourers, who were travelling in a vehicle.
The kidnappers had killed one of the labourers the same day and dumped his body on a highway.
On Thursday, the bodies of the remaining six labourers were also found, Balochistan Home Department spokesperson Babar Yousafzai told Dawn.
He said the kidnappers had taken the labourers to an undisclosed location, where one of them was killed shortly after the abduction and his body was dumped on the highway.
They later also killed the six remaining labourers, whose bodies were found in Turbat’s Nasirabad area, he added.
Yousafzai said the bodies bore torture marks and bullet wounds, and it seemed that the labourers had been shot at close range.
According to him, four of the deceased were from Punjab and two from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
They were working on a development project in Kech district, and their bodies were taken to the district headquarters hospital in Turbat for autopsy, he said.

The community of the deceased laborers shall call for a jirga and panchayat to avenge blood of the innocent fallen. They should also send a dozen armed men from their respective tribes.

people's lives and property, due to which a curfew has been imposed there until July 31.
'Normal life in Nushki was affected just a day before the curfew'
Mahim Baloch, a resident of Noshki city, told the BBC over the phone that normal life in Noshki city began to be affected the day before the curfew.
He said that on Tuesday, when a security forces check post was attacked on the outskirts of Nushki, the retaliatory action of the security forces resulted in heavy firing and explosions, causing severe panic and fear in the city.
He says that he was in his office when the shooting began. According to him, when shops in the city started closing due to the shooting, he also closed his office and left.
Mahim Baloch said that his children were not in the city due to school holidays, which is why he went to his sister's house and found out that night that a curfew had been imposed in the entire district.
He said that since his house is inside the city, he has not been able to go home for two days due to the curfew.
'The first long curfew in the city's history'
Like many other cities in Balochistan, people belonging to the Hindu community have been living in Nushki since before the creation of Pakistan.
People from this community associated with trade live in the city center and are facing extreme hardship due to the curfew.
Naresh Kumhar, general councilor of the Nushki Municipal Committee, who belongs to the Hindu community, said over the phone that the last time a curfew was imposed in the city was in August 2006 due to severe riots following the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti, but it was only for six to seven hours.
He said that there is currently a complete curfew in the city, which is a first-of-its-kind experience for the city's people.
He said that it was inevitable that when an overnight curfew was imposed in the city, it would cause difficulties for the people.
They say that many items, including baby milk, are purchased on a daily basis, but "when the curfew was imposed at night, people were unable to make those purchases."
Ahmed Jan Mengal, a trader leader in Noshki, says that the situation in the city was tense before the curfew was imposed, due to which many shopkeepers had hurriedly lowered the shutters of their shops and were unable to turn off the electricity in their shops.
He said that due to the complete curfew, not only are people unable to purchase basic necessities, but also daily wage earners have lost their income due to the curfew.
Mengal says that passengers and freight vehicle crews stranded on the outskirts of the city are currently facing the most difficulties.
"I don't know if they are getting anything to eat or not because the hotels on the Quetta-Taftan highway are also closed due to the curfew."
'Curfew should be relaxed for a few hours'
Trader leader Ahmed Jan Mengal says that we suggest that the curfew should be relaxed from 10 am to 12 pm so that people can buy essential goods and take patients to the hospital for treatment.
Although curfew has been imposed across the district, transportation of people in rural and remote areas of the district is continuing as usual.
When contacted, people in the union council of Kishangi, located east of Nushki, said that there is no restriction on the movement of people in this area, however, due to the curfew on the highway between Quetta and Nushki, there is almost no movement of vehicles.
Where is Noshki located and why is there a curfew there?
Nushki is located approximately 130 kilometers west of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, and shares a long border with Afghanistan to the north.
Noshki is one of the areas of Balochistan that is most affected by the insurgency.
On January 31, 2026, when the banned militant organization Baloch Liberation Army launched attacks on government installations in various cities under the name Herov II, the city of Nushki was among them.
During this operation, not only were members of the banned organization present in the city of Noshki for three days, but they were also present in the surrounding areas for a total of a week.
The BBC contacted some officials from the Interior Department regarding the authorities enforcing the curfew there, but they declined to comment.
However, a notification issued by the Home Department of the Balochistan government regarding the curfew said that on July 28, the District Intelligence Coordination Committee reported that militants attacked an FC check post located on the western bypass of the city, after which the operation by the security forces indicates that the security situation there is extremely unstable.
According to the notification, the law and order situation in Noshki has deteriorated significantly due to attacks on sensitive government installations and National Highway N-40, posing a serious threat to public safety, human lives, government property, and the uninterrupted movement of passengers and goods.
According to the Interior Department, credible intelligence reports indicate an increase in the threat in the month of August, with the possibility of targeting law enforcement agencies, government installations, and other sensitive locations.
Due to this situation, the authorities imposed a curfew within the boundaries of the Nushki district from 8 pm on July 28 to 8 pm on July 31.
Curfew imposed in Khad Kocha area of Mastung district
The current insurgency in Balochistan began during the reign of former military president General Pervez Musharraf.
In Balochistan, various areas of Quetta Division, Rakhshan Division, Makran Division, erstwhile Kalat Division, Naseerabad Division and Sibi Division were affected by the insurgency due to the activities of various Baloch militant organizations.
However, during the current two-decade-long insurgency in Balochistan, Noshki is the second city to be placed under curfew. A few days earlier, a curfew was imposed in the Khadkocha area of Mastung district, adjacent to Noshki.
Like Nushki, people in Khadkocha have also complained about the difficulties caused by the curfew and the security situation. According to Babar Yousafzai, Assistant Media Officer of the Provincial Home Department, the curfew in Khadkocha has been imposed to protect the lives and property of the people.
On the other hand, security forces are continuing operations in Nushki, and reports of large-scale arrests have also been received, but their number has not yet been officially announced.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistani military's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) yesterday, eight alleged militants were killed in an operation by security forces in Nushki.
Earlier, government officials had claimed to have killed more than 13 militants in various operations in Mastung, but this could not be confirmed by independent sources
