Security forces killed 12 terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations in Washuk and Mastung districts of Balochistan under the ongoing “Rad-ul-Fitna-3” counterterrorism campaign, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Thursday.

According to the ISPR, six terrorists were killed in an operation in Washuk district on August 5 after their movement was detected by security forces.

In a separate intelligence-based operation in Mastung district on August 6, six more terrorists were killed following an intense exchange of fire.

A terrorist hideout was also destroyed during the operation, according to the statement.

The ISPR said the operations were part of the ongoing counterterrorism campaign aimed at eliminating terrorists and foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
