I have to appreciate the way the Pak forces have been adapting damn fast to this cost effective non-contact robotic warfare at all levels - tactical, operational, and strategic. These scums need to be wiped off faster than they're produced. Let the cost be so high their masters would stop financing and sending them....

QUETTA: Unidentified armed men kidnapped 20 police recruits undergoing training at the Kalat Police Training Centre while they were travelling in a passenger van along the Quetta-Karachi Highway in Mastung district, officials said.

A senior Balochistan government official confirmed the abduction to Dawn on condition of anonymity, saying the recruits were heading home for the weekend when armed men intercepted their van.

“Yes, 20 police personnel who were going home for the weekend were taken away by armed men while they were travelling in a passenger van on the Quetta-Karachi Highway in Mastung,” the official said.

He said a group of armed men riding motorcycles and carrying automatic weapons intercepted the van and took the recruits away along with the vehicle to an undisclosed location. The armed men, however, released the driver and three other passengers travelling in the van.

Police officials in Mastung also confirmed the abduction, saying the recruits belonged to the Levies Force, which has since been merged with the police.

The abducted personnel belonged to the Rakhshan division, government officials said.

Security forces have launched a search operation in the nearby mountains to trace the abducted recruits. However, no information about their whereabouts has emerged so far.

No group has claimed responsibility for the abduction.

A day earlier, Rakhshan Division Commissioner Asad Ullah Kakar was abducted in Balochistan’s Kharan district.

In a separate incident, Kharan Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Soomro was released safely on Oct 3 after nearly two weeks in captivity following negotiations between local tribal elders and the armed men who had abducted him from the Noshki-Kharan highway the previous month.

On July 21, three excise officials were kidnapped after an attack on a checkpost in Balochistan’s Chagai district.

I really am coming around to a fortress policy. Ring fence the more lucrative areas of the province. Reko Diq, Saindak, Sui, Gwadar, Ormara. maybe Quetta. Screw the rest. Perhaps build access-controlled highways connecting them and remove villages in route,

So, when are we going to see Governor Raj and Emergency in Balochistan? Or do security problems get pushed under the carpet when the CM is a stooge of the Fauj ?

Two police head constables were martyred when unidentified armed men opened fire on a police patrol in Balochistan’s Nasirabad district on Saturday.

The attackers also made off with the slain officers’ official weapons.

Police told The Express Tribune that the incident occurred near Bedar Bridge, where the motorcycle-riding officers were on routine patrol. Unidentified gunmen suddenly opened fire, killing both head constables on the spot. The martyred officers have been identified as Head Constable Malik Bugti and Head Constable Ahmad Lashari.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ghulam Sarwar Mengal said the assailants fled with the official weapons of the martyred personnel after the attack. Upon receiving information, police and security forces immediately sealed off the area and launched a search operation to track down the culprits. Investigations into the incident have also begun.

Meanwhile, the families of the martyred officers staged a protest sit-in with the bodies at Pat Feeder Bridge, blocking the Sindh-Balochistan National Highway. The blockade disrupted traffic, causing inconvenience to travellers.

Security in the area has been further tightened following the incident, and preparations for operations to arrest the perpetrators are underway.

All supply routes should be ringfenced. Surely there has to be an autonomous drone swarm that can monitor all the key routes.

But it really is a major intelligence failure not being able to trace the supply of weapons and funds after all these years.

Well, no. Since Israel has no right in the West Bank and Balochistan is sovereign Pakistani territory.
Nevertheless they have turned the occupied West Bank into isolated bantustans surrounded by military fortresses, which is what you advocate for your own people ?

How about you grant Baloch their rights and control over provincial resources instead of imitating Israel ?
