Gabd border crossing with Iran reopened​

GWADAR: Pakistan reopened its border crossing with Iran at Gabd-Rimdan on Saturday, restoring bilateral trade and allowing stranded trucks carrying LPG and essential food commodities to resume movement after a weeklong suspension that began on Oct 17.

Border officials cleared commercial consignments holding a consignment note dated Oct 16 or earlier to cross at the Gabd-Rimdan point, known as Gate 250, in Gwadar.

Mir Naveed Jan Kalmati, president of the Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, confirmed that trade operations resumed on Saturday morning.

“Pakistan has opened the border with Iran at Gabd-Rimdan this morning and allowed trucks and other vehicles to move toward Iran and Pakistan with import and export goods,” Kalmati said.

Kalmati welcomed the decision, noting that the resumption of cross-border commerce will bring immediate relief to traders and transporters stranded on both sides.

He added that the restored supply chain is expected to ease a nationwide LPG shortage and reduce soaring energy and food prices across Pakistan.

Saturday’s reopening came after local administrators reviewed the security situation and deployed additional forces to protect trade convoys following an attack earlier in the week.

On Thursday, unidentified gunmen had targeted the backlog of freight vehicles parked near the closed Gabd-Rimdan crossing, setting dozens of trucks ablaze and damaging several others.

Those trucks had been stranded since Oct 17, when Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce abruptly suspended trade at both the Gabd-Rimdan and Taftan crossings. The ministry issued a memorandum withdrawing an Oct 3 trade order with immediate effect without specifying a reason for the halt.

Even President Zia-ur Rahman, the undisputed and unchallenged leader of the BD Muslims (including this Fakir), didn't have the "luxury" of a simple Ghusl or Jenaza* after he got assassinated by his fellow ex-Mukti Bahini officers, who were overwhelmingly anti-Pakistan and anti-Islam, for his inclination toward the good practices of the Pak Army and Islam....

*Later his dead-body was retrieved from an unmarked grave and re-buried with a proper Jenaza. Incidentally, a Merhum uncle of mine, a senior BD military officer, was in charge of that Jenaza program.

Anyone who has any doubts around who had the biggest role in the creation of Bangladesh needs to read Sashanka S. Banerjee's book: India, Sheikh mujibur rehman, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
The treachery started in 1962 when Sheikh Mujibur rehman started contacts with India. He along with the main leaders was killed for the same reasons. They did not want the stories to get out and malign the carefully knitted plot. Things were bad from west pakistan side as well esp. the idiotic behaviour of Bhutto and rest but the rot started from the leaders within East Pakistan. To hide the smell they were killed.
Time in and time out the same history has repeated itself. Traitors were killed or they themselves hid away. Saddam accomplice or contacts with west, Ghaddafi council who colluded, possibly 911 and what not. The world has remained largely oblivious to the true story.

Previously BLA were chanting and attacking everywhere in Balochistan.. Now it stopped due to.....

Mountains are not safe for BLA terrorists as drones are hunting them like dogs, cities are not safe for them due to report by locals.

All BLA attacks are becoming one way suicide missions only. Only thing need to be done is to hunt masters in Afghanistan and do something about their masters in Europe.
