Two terrorists were killed while five were apprehended after security forces conducted two separate operations against Fitna al Khawarij in Balochistan’s Pishin and Zhob districts, the military’s media wing said on Saturday.

In July, the government, through an official notification, designated the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as Fitna al Khawarij, while mandating all institutions to use the term khariji (outcast) when referring to the perpetrators of terrorist attacks on Pakistan.

According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a successful intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces yesterday in Pishin on the reported presence of militants.

“During the operation, five khawarij were apprehended and a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives including three suicide vests were seized,” it said.

“Apprehended khawarij were involved in multiple terrorist attacks and were planning to target security forces as well as innocent civilians,” the ISPR highlighted.

In a separate incident, the press release added, “two khawarij were sent to hell” during a fire exchange with security forces in the Zhob district.

“In ensuing sanitisation of the area, weapons and ammunition were also recovered in large quantity,” it said.

I haven't read news about BLA militants for long. How about them?
During Manmohan Singh's government time, India was blamed for supplying arms for freedom struggle of BLA type organisations....
I would like to have a look on this thread to revise news of this thread....

The Rise Of The Baloch Liberation Army In Pakistan

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has waged an over 20-year insurgency against the Pakistani state, carrying out mostly small-scale attacks against government forces.

But that changed last week when the separatist militant group claimed responsibility for major coordinated attacks across the vast and impoverished southwestern province of Balochistan, killing over 70 people.

The bombings and shootings on August 25-26 were the deadliest in years in Balochistan, which borders Afghanistan and Iran and is home to Pakistan’s Baluch ethnic minority.

Experts say the attacks highlight the growing strength of the BLA, which has boosted its recruitment and gained access to modern weapons. The U.S.-designated terrorist group has also adopted more lethal tactics like suicide bombings in recent years.

“These attacks were unprecedented and mark a new escalation in the tensions in Balochistan,” said Kiyya Baloch, a Pakistani journalist and commentator who tracks militancy in the region. “It shows the BLA’s determination to showcase its growing strength.”

Demonstrating Dominance

In an operation that began late on August 25, BLA fighters bombed a railway bridge linking the province to the rest of Pakistan, attacked police and military posts, and targeted buses and trucks on a major highway.

In the deadliest attack, BLA fighters stopped a bus and shot dead 23 of its passengers, many of whom were from Punjab, Pakistan's most populous and prosperous province.

The coordinated attacks coincided with the anniversary of the death of Baloch nationalist leader Akbar Bugti, who was killed by Pakistan's security forces in 2006.

QUETTA: Four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were injured when a bomb exploded near their vehicle in Duki district of Balochistan on Saturday, officials said.

An improvised explosive device (IED) planted by unknown miscreants at the roadside in the Mandaytak area detonated when the FC patrol was passing through the area.

“Four FC soldiers were injured in the blast,” a senior security official said, adding that they were patrolling for the security of trucks carrying coal to Punjab from Duki coal fields.

FC personnel and police arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to the district hospital in Duki.

Later, a bomb disposal squad visited the scene of attack and collected evidence. Initial investigation showed the IED was detonated with remote control.

Security in Duki, a coal-rich area, has been increased after several violent attacks targeting miners in the past few months.

On Oct 11, armed assailants killed 21 coal miners and left six others injured in the coal field area. The assailants also destroyed ten mines and burnt equipment and machinery.

Brothers shot dead

In Mastung, bullet-riddled bodies of two brothers were found in the Splingi area on Saturday.

The two were kidnapped by unidentified armed men while attending a wedding ceremony the other day.

Authorities were alerted by the locals about the presence of the bodies. After receiving the information, Levies personnel arrived at the site, took the bodies into custody and shifted them to the district hospital.

The victims were shot in the head from a close range, Levies officials said.

One victim was identified as Khushhal Bangulzai, while the identity of his brother could not be ascertained immediately.

The bodies were handed over to the family after completing medico-legal formalities.

They kill innocents discriminately, without remorse. I don't understand how there's still supporters amongst the Balochi civilian population

You would be surprised how deep rooted it is, and many are highly educated. I know a balochi girl who's studying to be a doc, big time BLA supporter. I think it's cause of all the massive neglect by state and the propaganda these Baloch groups do.

It truly is the case that no amount of education can buy intelligence.
I find it ridiculous that these fools actually believe Balochistan would be better off independent from Pakistan. Sure, Pakistan has mismanaged and squandered a lot of the resources that should be going to the Balochis, but the situation would be even worse without it. Not to mention that they would struggle even being able to sustain their population

Seven people, including five children, were killed in Mastung district on Friday, drawing condemnation from Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti who lamented that terrorists had now started targeting innocent children along with poor labourers.

State broadcaster PTV News quoted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as saying that the explosion occurred at a “girls’ high school”, while another post by the outlet said the incident occurred “near Girls’ High School Chowk”.

However, Kalat Division Commissioner Naeem Bazai said that the attack took place at around 8:35am near the Mastung Civil Hospital which, according to Google Maps, is located a few meters away from the hospital.

“So far, seven individuals have been martyred, including five school students, while 17 others have sustained injuries,” Bazai confirmed to Dawn.com.

He added that a policeman was also martyred in the incident.

“It appears that an IED (improvised explosive device) attached to a motorcycle was detonated near a police mobile,” Bazai noted.

The injured were being treated at Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital and Mastung District Headquarters Hospital, with 11 of them later shifted to the Quetta Trauma Centre (QTC), according to Bazai.

Those shifted to Quetta included a five-year-old girl and a teenage boy, according to a list of patients issued by QTC Managing Director Arbab Kamran. Five of them were stated to be in a serious condition.

Earlier, Mastung District Police Officer (DPO) Miandad Umrani told Dawn.com that four policemen were among the injured.

He also stated that the deceased children were aged between five and 10 years. A police van and several auto-rickshaws were damaged as a result of the explosion, according to the DPO.

Footage from the incident site showed policemen and other people gathered near a charred police van.

The BLA and BRA know they top brass has absolutly no intention to retaliate unlike The Turks who would bomb bases of PKK fighters in Iraq.
Zionist supporters are openly supporting the killing of innocent Pakistanis.
The Pak Generals are pathetic and weak. BLA has become strong and will kill anyone now, for decades hundreds of innocent workers from Punjab, Sindh, KPK and China have been massacred without any retaliation.
What is the purpose of even having an army?

Dont be surprised if she tries to be a suicide bomber. Baloch female suicide bombers have been used in the past to target Chinese engineers.
