You do know what a "defence pact" is, right?
If India attacks Pakistan, then Pakistan will invoke the terms of its "defence pact". You think Iran will then be summonable by Delhi for Pakistan defending itself??
Afghanistan doesn't need any "pact" to be be your lackey anyway. We are already living this reality and putting both your nations in their rightful place.
Honestly, the panic from our Indian origin forum regulars on this thread - you all seem to have woken up in a cold sweat and have decided to create wild Bollywood theories on this very straightforward matter.
If Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia were to jointly attack Iran, India would come to Iran’s assistance, and Afghanistan would do the same. Likewise, if Afghanistan were attacked by Pakistan, India and Iran would be expected to come to Afghanistan’s aid. This post is soo delusional that it really is not worth spending much time on.
1 - Iran WILL join the Makkah pact. It is a matter of time and some heavy diplomacy.
2 - Iran has no issues with Pakistan that requires it to be in an alliance with India. Not now, not ever. You have obviously not paid any attention to any thing from Iran with regards to Pakistan's help for Iran in this war, including dismissing outright any attempt of sanctions by Pakistan on Iran...
For such a security arrangement to work effectively, the presence of Indian military bases in Iran and Afghanistan will be crucial. However, this is entirely hypothetical—I am assuming for the sake of argument that the Mecca Defense Pact is a real and operational security alliance with such commitments.
