Would it be reasonable to look into buying the 2 de-commisioned Ulsan class in South Korea?

Maybe buy them or try to get them free and upgrade them along with Khalid bin Walid.

That will require more sub-system+structural work than we wish for.

Even with that, they may never contribute more than a patrol frigate.
