Bangladesh Socio-Political Crisis 2024 and onwards

Majority of the advisors are Awami sympathizer. They do not possess revolutionary spirit. I called it out from beginning if you remember.

Spirit of revolution bound to fall if these advisors are not removed immediately.

We need Mahmood ur Rehman type personality lead us from front.

The woman is literally threatening revenge against......pretty much everyone not Awami League.

What @LeonBlack08 was talking about.

On the issue - these active demonstrations and lobbying are directly backed by the government of India. We have BJP VHP RSS Shiv Shena wings in Bangladesh now. Their activities in social media will astound you. Some are openly calling for secession to India to fulfill their Akhand Bharat dream. Since when did Bangladeshis have these political ideologies? Bangladesh was not founded through a bloody war only to be assimilated to a Greater India ruled by non Bengalis.

But this is now the new reality of South Asia. These ideologies have been introduced, made acceptable within Bangladeshi Hindu communities and are here to say irrespective of who comes to power in India in future.

Even Congress will be placating to these groups to maintain their control in Bangladesh. The damage is permanent.

BD needs to be as inclusive as possible.

Excluding a major portion of the nation from decision making process at this time would be a grave mistake as it would not need to a system that is generally accepted for decades to come at least.

Majority of the advisors were never anti-Indian during most of their careers especially Asif Nazrul and Adilur Rahman Khan and all certainly lack a revolutionary spirit and most are Mujib sympathizers ... I tried to point this out but got shouted down but now even you agree with me.

Having said that Mahmudur Rahman would be the worst choice for Advisor as he is erratic and divisive and he did conspire against the BNP during 1/11 in favour of the Jamaat. The problem in Bangladesh is that people mistake these personalities based on their public profiles but have no idea of what they do or say in private.

What I have been saying about the Asif Nazrul clique which includes Adilur Rahman Khan, Md. Asaduzzaman and Rifat Ahmed is now being expressed in the media -

ভারতের নীলনকশায় দীর্ঘসূত্রায়ণ কৌশল! তারেক রহমানের ফেরা-হাসিনার বিচার

কোনদিকে খেলছেন আসিফ?

What game is Asif playing -

"The question can be asked directly. What is the advisor of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs doing? Asif Nazrul? What are you spending time on? What does he want? Whose agenda is Asif Nazrul implementing? It has been two months since the bloody August 5 coup. What did he do? Appointing the Chief Justice of his own 'favorite'. Appointment of Attorney General. Appointment of Director General of Shilpakala Academy. Appointment of Chairman of Law Commission. Withdrawal of Harassment case is the withdrawal of the case of Prothom Alo female journalist "Rozina Islam". Discussion meeting on the amendment of the International Criminal Tribunal Act-1973. Attended several meetings-seminars of various NGOs. Asif Nazrul's "many works" may come out if the angel pulls. What can be considered to him as 'priority oriented', 'main' and 'core work'. But through the July-August revolution, the students of the country gave their lives, is it for these works of Asif Nazrul?"

Mahmudur Rahman demands ban on Chhatra League

Mahmudur Rahman demands ban on Chhatra League

Mahmudur Rahman, acting editor of Amar Desh, on Sunday issued a seven-day ultimatum demanding a ban on Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of Bangladesh Awami League.

"Bangladesh Chhatra League has to be banned as a terrorist organization within seven days. We are giving a seven day ultimatum from the Amar Desh newspaper family and journalist platform. If no action is taken within this deadline, strong movement will be staged on the road," he said.

He gave the ultimatum at a programme while pressing home his seven point demand on the premises of the National Press Club on Sunday.

"Chhatra League was involved in every crime that happened in the last 16 years. Even the members of organization killed thousands of students and mass people during the anti-discrimination movement," he said.

Mahmudur was released from jail on bail on October 3 in a case involving conspiracy to kidnap and attempt to kill Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her ICT advisor.

I don't really care and what is wrong with Jamaat?

The reason if you have not understood is that their stupidity in conspiring in 1/11 to undermine the BNP resulted in the execution of 5 of their top leaders and 16 years of Awami League rule.

I warned Mahmudur Rahman, Mohommad Kamaruzzaman, Abdul Quader Molla, Barrister Abdur Razzak, Shah Abdul Hannan and Farhad Mazhar of the consequences at a secret meeting arranged by DGFI Director Brigadier Amin and they all laughed at me. You can say that Jamaat is responsible for the 16 year Awami League rule and Mahmudur Rahman is part of that wrong thinking by Jamaat.

I don't trust this guy one bit. Had the students not risen up, BNP could have never toppled BAL under his leadership. This proves it further.

It is a noble position looking from outside, but the wound is still fresh and BAL should not be allowed back until at least after 5 years. Provided their leaders are punished and they seek apology from the nation.

They should be banned permanently. Fascism has no place in BD, the main crime they did are destruction of the democratic process, destruction of the judiciary, allowing foreign interference and acting as their shills. All of these are unforgivable.
