5 points demand by student leaders -

1. Invalidate 1972 constitution and implement a new constitution

2. Declare Chatro League (BAL student wing) as a terrorist organization and ban them within this week

3. Hasina appointed President Chuppu must resign within this week

4. Based on the spirit of the August Revolution - issue a new proclamation of Republic within this week. The nation will be run based on this new proclamation and based on the unity of all political parties

5. Declare the last 3 elections 2014, 2018 and 2024 as illegal.
 
Given the infiltration of IG cabinet and failure and to an extent betrayal of trust by the likes of Asif Nazrul - it was imperative that the students rose again to prevent BAL getting rehabilitated or worse push the country to civil war.

Sheikh Hasina fled to India on August 5 in the face of student uprising. His government fell. At around 11 o'clock in the night, the president addressed the nation with the chief of the three forces. Sahabuddin said that the former Prime Minister submitted his resignation letter to him and he accepted it.

However, recently the President said in a media that he has no written resignation of the Prime Minister. Due to the absconding, it has been decided to form an interim government on the advice of the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, after two months of Sheikh Hasina's escape, various media reported that Awami League is taking steps to form a government in exile. On the other hand, there was a protest rally and torch march in Comilla city last Saturday night in protest of the formation of the expatriate government in India.

Hasnat Abdullah, the central coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, said that Hasina, the murderer, has not escaped. Conspiracy against the country continues. In the meantime, we have received news that some leaders and workers of Awami League have gathered in Tripura across the Comilla border. Former MP Bahar and his daughter are sitting there plotting.

He also said that we want to tell them in clear terms that their conspiracy and mischief will never succeed on the soil of Bengal. If the brokers of fascism, Chhatra League, Jubo League, Tokai League, try to rehabilitate anywhere in Bangladesh, they will be suppressed with a strong hand.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Rubel, a member of the campaign committee of Awami League who fled to India and a member of the Sheikh family, said that Awami League is going to form an expatriate government in India with Sheikh Hasina as its head. He said, yesterday we had a virtual meeting in India. It was decided to form an expatriate government, which will be represented by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. According to the constitution of Bangladesh, he is still the prime minister of Bangladesh.

However, Sheikh Rubel avoided the Indian government's permission on the expatriate government issue. He said that we can't do anything without their cooperation. However, we are moving forward strategically so that the good relations between the two countries are maintained.

Meanwhile, when some senior Awami League leaders were asked about the formation of the expatriate government, they did not acknowledge the issue but did not want to say anything clearly.
