Jamaat is probably the only party without Indian influence, although money could change things but it is difficult because of religious beliefs. But Jamaat on its own cannot win majority. Even with a coalition of all Islamic parties would at best make them the main opposition. They will have to wait at least 5 more years or even more.

The party formed by the students will be a hodgepodge of pro US and Pro India people, trying to push Uber secularism and Uber liberal ideology such as lgbtq which goes against conservative Bengali culture.

BNP's situation is kinda the same. It has a mix of Pro US, China and India people in it.

This is part of what I predicted in post #2561 of this thread. This is only the surface as these fat f***s are concerned. Intel agencies need to keep a close eye on these and their connections. And if there is an imminent threat, diffuse it immediately.

We don't need to imitate India. Like, ever. Every Bangladesh citizen is equal and privileged to the services and protection of the state.

No special treatment. No exceptions. No bullshit.

Their main problem is that they have close to zero connection with the young demographic much like Awami League. This is a very important part in determining any meaningful success of a political party. Otherwise, the entire political exercise just isn't feasible.

I have heard that the students are forming a party as we speak. They just aren't releasing anything regarding their plans at this moment. They are very hush-hush about the whole exercise. But if they can establish a party with experienced people, I will definitely vote for them despite their inexperience.

My concern is that this revolution may be hijacked by some other party. Most likely the BNP. I may be wrong, but my suspicions often turn out to be right.

The BNP has no consistency in their ideas and actions that can move the nation forward in a direction most beneficial for the nation. The only individual who had this consistency was Ziaur Rahman. The rest are just opportunistic garbage.

It has become imperative that alternate parties be formed which can deliver value. The BNP and AL just don't deliver that.

To avoid this, one solution is to ban student politics altogether. If Chatro League can be banned, this can be easily doable IMO.

The current generation of young adults (Gen Z) are very different from the adult generation of the 80s (Gen X). Gen Y are somewhere in the middle.

It is safe to say this generation is more religiously observant compared to their predecessors.

Some of the prominent student leaders, yes they are.

But then you also have the likes of Mahfuz, who has questionable interpretation of Islam. Referring to his Mazaar related comments and such.
