The pictures you sent are stunning this is mostly the north east of your country bordering china and India I'm guessing ..

I read somewhere only 5%, of Pakistan is forest or green land making it one of the most arid dry countrys in the world

In contrast India is 25% green forest land ...Himlayers also gives India massive mountain landscapes right across the entire north peninsula

As a US citizen, the State Department is recommending against travel to Pakistan. :-(

Considering some of the places I've been, would likely be safer in Pakistan. In the meantime, photo threads such as this one will have to do.
