We can confidently say it hasnt wielded the results the US had hoped for when it began the Indian-US alliance 20 years ago.

China have larger trade surplused than ever with India and militarily far more superior than India, today, relative to 2005. The indo-Pacific strategy hasn yielded anything substantial worth mentioning after all these years.

United States continues to be dependent on trade with China, as India havent managed at all to replce Chinas’ factories.

Looks like a US did a bad bet to me.
