Boeing Is Hiring 20 Times More Engineers From India As US Aims To Cut Dependence On China: Media

Why blame Indians for Boeing's mistakes? The code was written by Indian coders to spec. The code was, presumably, tested and accepted by Boeing. The fault is with Boeing engineers and management in Seattle, not with Indians.

Besides Airbus, which has its own issues, what other competition does Boeing have?
In that segment? None. China is still a way off before its aircraft are certified for the US and likely Europe.

In the regional space, Embraer and Bombardier are the dominant players.

I think Bombardier sold its commercial aircraft division to Mitsubishi while retaining the private aircraft business.

Most of the Boeing jobs in India are engineering related

Sorry for being a troll. I read the article and I got that from it. Only 3 vacancies announced for China and more then 50 for engineers announced in India. Good progress for India.

I know people working at Boeing India, and the particular team was involved in newer winglet design. Boeing’s Bengaluru GCC is effectively an R&D and engineering hub and not just a support office.

As far as more and more Indians are being hired by these big companies of USA, that is still a good news for the world (not particularly for China though, not atleast in the long run).

Because

If less and less Americans can do these sort of jobs then this would naturally mean decline of AMERICAN manufacturing and technology industries. The Indians, I am not sure will stay for long. Soon Indian aviation industry will be capable enough to attract them back to India. Just like it happened with China where chinese industries attracted chinese citizens working in industries in western countries. So decline of a sole super power making all the shots is good for the world. Because we can not have a dictator roaming around the world doing what pleases it. I am not one of those chanting marg bar Amrikaaa. Just want multi-polar world so that no one can get too excited like trump is these days.

This is going to be good for China (in short term) because any edge that it can get over USA will make it more stronger. But why do I think it is bad for China in the long run, its because India will develop its aviation industry with help of these engineers that come back to india from USA to a level where it will be to china what China is to USA today. China can not afford such a country right on its borders.

Just my opinion.

I know that wouldn't be nice. Of course We want to get those aliens the best quality stuff.

If we agree woth the conspiracy theorists, you had 79 years to be a good guest. Now is the turn for Indian hospitality I guess.
