Who is in the coalition?

its a shame that saudis despite the best war toys on the block still need Pakistan , Turkey and all the hired mercernaries to fight the Yemeni frighters in sandals
Well, then KSA needs to stop being so pusso passive and actually bring the perpetrators to justice.
And I think they will. Houthis have clearly chosen to kill muslim civilians for absolutely no logical reason. Khat addiction has clouded their rationality completely. This action is far beyond the realms of anything even remotely logical.
It represents a chronic miscalculation on their part. In the long run, KSA will urgently militarise themselves and, with a bit of luck, you may even see the beginning of the end of their pathetically dysfunctional playboy lifestyle and a sudden realisation that no less than force of arms and technological supremacy ultimately bring salvation to any nation state.
This seems to me an oversimplification. The equation is simple. Saudi need to stop their seige and decades long aggression against the Yemeni people. Otherwise, the attacks will keep coming unfortunately. There is no military solution to this conflict between 2 peoples of the faith.
Houthis are not a proxy, but the legitimate movement against the imposed Zionist backed government. The current Saud backed government is to Yemen, what Zulensky is to Ukraine. This seems to me an oversimplification.
Yes, Yemen has suffered from involvement of non-Yemeni parties in their civil war, however, mainland KSA and Iran have not been directly attacked by opposing proxies (afaik) until the present window of conflict.
I could be wrong so feel free to correct me if so.
In my opinion, this is a miscalculation from the Houthis and they are now inviting a crushing response. It is so obviously a miscalculation that one may even speculate that it is in KSA's interests that this happened.
This is what inevitably happens when people chew khat before thinking things through.
Then the opponents of the Houthis (I.e. the faction in power in Aden) have an equivalent claim. It remains a civil war, backed by external powers who are functioning through "proxy influence". Anyway, I actually agree with your last statement. The problem is that the Houthis have now escalated the matter. I hope some negotiated settlement can still be found quickly!Houthis are not a proxy, but the legitimate movement against the imposed Zionist backed government. The current Saud backed government is to Yemen, what Zulensky is to Ukraine.
Houthis have the right to fight back against the illegitimate government and they'll continue to do so until the seige is ended.
Again, there is no real solution to the conflict other than getting to the table and negotiating.
