Like rest of Asia, Pakistan also suffers from the curse of gold.

I have spoken to a lot of people who have made that so called golden pot. They have very simplistic lessons to share. Which are all probably true. But not very exciting and motivational.

Is luck the main ingredient?

That is true. I consider myself fairly financially secure, but i attribute it mostly to having been at the right place at the right time and luck. I did put in the hard work to capitalize on the opportunities, but there are plenty of people who work much harder and barely get by.

In 1999, I took the college entrance examination and was admitted to the sixth department of a university near Deya Village in Kaifu District, Hunan Province with a score of 612.

In my first year of college, the school gave me a monthly allowance of 110 CNY and a 30 CNY district captain subsidy. This money was my initial deposit. That winter vacation, I used this money to buy a gold necklace weighing about 7g for my mother. My mother always said that it was the most precious gift in her life.
