Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, met Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence, Colonel General Hasanov Zakir Asgar Oglu, in Lachin on Wednesday to discuss regional security and defence cooperation.

During the meeting, the two military leaders exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, with a focus on strengthening bilateral military collaboration and addressing shared regional challenges.

The army chief underscored Pakistan’s commitment to expanding defence ties with Azerbaijan and praised the close and growing relationship between the two countries.
