Asim Munir has already consolidated his power. This is now his ship. Besides he has solidified himself when he attacked India and took the fight to them meaning Majority of the former PTI patriotic supporters are now his supporters.

Hence it is unnecessary going after remnants who weren´t loyal to anyone but their own stomache and ambitions.

Imran Khan and his adminstration is a bygone era it will not come back just like how we know zia-ul-Haq´s era won´t come back nor pervez musharraf´s era. This is the same with Imran Khan´s era.

Imho release Imran Khan, give him his money back, clear him of all charges and exile him to the UK. He is not coming back mark my words he is a bygone era alrady but keeping hold of him or making him a martyr is counter-productive and could back fire. That way you are making Imran Khan more relevant not the other way around

Pakistan’s Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir will visit the United States to attend the CENTCOM change in command later this week, his second trip to Washington in less than two months.

During his last visit in June, Munir met Trump over lunch at the White House, weeks after India dismantled terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan Azaad Kashmir. This was the first time in history that a US president has welcomed the military leader without senior Pakistani civilian officials present.

Trump had praised General Munir for his role in preventing an escalation of conflict between India and Pakistan, saying, “The reason I had him here was I wanted to thank him for not going into the war and ending it…"

Munir has said Trump should be nominated for the Nobel Prize for "averting nuclear war" between India and Pakistan.

Trump has been claiming credit for the ceasefire between India and Pakistan on May 10, ending the conflict after four days of intense cross-border drone and missile strikes. However, India has said that no foreign leader was involved in the ceasefire, and New Delhi and Islamabad reached an understanding following DGMO-level talks.
